Had a fantastic day kayaking around St Agnes and Annet, spotting seals and puffins along the way. Rob was incredibly helpful in planning our route and telling us about local wildlife, as well as giving us safety advice about the tides and recommending a good picnic spot before we set off. Equipment was well maintained and small touches like a radio and waterproof phone cases were appreciated. The day was excellent value and we would definitely recommend St Agnes watersports.

Really friendly and helpful, directing us to the best place to kayak etc. Saw lots of seals and even some tuna. Safety equipment provided and checks done. So much more enjoyable an experience compared to the following day where we went elsewhere. Would highly recommend.

To enhance your time on this beautiful island, what better thing to do than hire a kayak from Rob and paddle off to your very own white sand beach for the afternoon.Another couple were planning to fish from theirs and Rob even suggested we might want to go shrimping with his nets around low tide.Just to give you an example of how thoughtful he is,he provides a trug of water for safely putting out the beach BBQs for long after the sun has sunk behind the horizon.

With a small fleet of brand new Standup Paddleboards (SUP), single and double sit-on top kayaks, St Agnes Watersports can offer a range of options. Kayaking around St Agnes' nooks and crannies on a calm sunny day is a blissful joy. The silence really can be deafening! Paddling round to the pub gives that satisfied feeling of really having earned that drink.

In windier conditions, the excitement changes. Maybe catching a wave, maybe even seeing a seal pop up beside you! It's still great fun.

This year, I tried a SUP for the first time. The water was flat and calm as anything - it was like walking on water. Looking down gives a different perspective to a kayak and it's interesting to nose a little into the locals' boats. I also noted that people talk to you more if you are on the SUP. There's a cool factor about it that kids will love! Combining a couple of SUPs and a kayak or 2 is a great family activity.

I found rob's instruction to be excellent, pitching it just right to inform and to encourage you. I felt able to step right on and go - which I did. When I got back in, he was explaining the use of the kayak to some youngsters. It was noticeable that his whole manner changed for them, adjusting his delivery for the different audience. The mark of a good instructor. Rob is also very good at assessing people's abilities - he won't let people bite of more than they can paddle...

Highly recommended.

Set on the beach right next to the campsite with a lot of options and good prices for hire. We used a double kayak to explore the area and on another occasion we had a go on the SUP’s. Great equipment and lovely friendly gentleman called Rob helped with all the hire. Such a lovely place and great people, will definitely be back.
Thanks and can’t wait to be back next year

Had a fab time! Rob was very friendly & patient whilst I deliberated how long to kayak for..eventually decided on 3 hrs, which was perfect. I kayaked around to Turks Head pub where I stopped for a drink, then to the sandbar where I had lunch. Then I kayaked back and was treated to a seal sighting! I will be back, such a brilliant spot to kayak around, so beautiful :)

Fantastic spot. My partner and I visited in September 2022. We had glorious weather and curious seals. The kit is all high quality.

Rob was extremely helpful and provided handy tips on where to paddle in the kayaks. You are connected by radio, which is useful for staying safe on the water. Paddle around the island; it's well worth it, and stop for a drink and lunch in the pub.

After returning, we had a short session on the stand-up paddleboards, which was also great fun.

10/10, I would recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to come back.

This was a brilliant experience from start to finish. Dan was great, really friendly and helpful. Kayaking around the coast of St Agnes was amazing! So beautiful and wild, we really felt like we were so removed from the 'real' world, just us and the kayak and the stunning scenery. What was really fun was kayaking around the coast to the Turk's Head for lunch! If you fancy trying something a bit different then I would totally recommend this. Also the fabulous Troytown Farm ice cream shop is just around the corner for when you're back on dry land! Brilliant.
