The walk down from the top of Monte Solaro is strenuous and slippery. If you not sure of your footing, DO NOT DO this. However, if you do, stop off at the small church and appreciate the views--incredible. It's easy to find, the fork in the trail to the right, about halfway down, is well marked.

The walk to Emero a Cetralla is an easy relaxing stroll once you've been to Monte Solaro. The views over Capri and the bay are worth the visit alone. The small chapel is very peacefull and well maintained. Worth the visit.

This is a beautiful stop on a day tour of Capri. Our open top Car Driver stopped here for us, and the view was incredible. You can take nice photos with the Ocean as your back drop. It will always be in my heart as one of my best friends was on that trip and has since passed away. I... More

This church was simply amazing. We actually stumbled across it and we're so glad we did, because it was certainly a highlight of our trip. The story behind the church and the intricate detailing on the floor are well worth the trip!

everything about Anacapri is gorgeous, and you won't regret getting here and spending a day or two just leisurely, breathing in the natural beauty of the place.

We walked up Monte Solaro (having done the chairlift a few days before), knowing that this place was situated near the top. It took us about 45 mins, but we did stop many times to rest/admire the views. The little path wound it's way upwards past a myriad wild flowers and fragrant pine trees. Hundreds of green/brown lizards darted away... More

Walking, walking, walking down the pathway from visiting the top of Monte Solaro we took this magical pathway to Santa Maria a Cetrella (Casa Mackenzie is also a must visit nearby). Serenity, many green lizards scurrying about, bees pollinating the flowers, and even butterflies fluttering in front of us brought joy to our senses. The view upon arrival was spectacular!... More

It's been awhile but if you decide to go to Naples you have to take a boat ride to Capri and after you see the Blue Grotto which is a must if you are there, then to go to the top of the mountain to one of the oldest churches in this region. Spend some time and experience the history... More

The floor was amazing. We couldn't believe how beautiful the hand painted tiles were. There are also many beautiful paintings. Climb the stairs to the balcony to take amazing pictures.
