I started with a sample of chocolate w/lemoncello & loved it. I bought several candy bars & several boxes of candy. I have tried to buy this again but to no avail. Where can I purchase it (other than Capri?)

Sapori di Capri is a beautiful little shop in Ana Capri. I liked how I could see the distillery process behind the counter. We entered to buy some olive oil and left with olive oil, 2 bottles of limoncello and chocolate. The attendant gave us samples of limoncello to try and we automatically purchased two bottles. I tried the normal and creamy limoncello, which I ended-up purchasing.

All the stuff here is mainly the same as in similar stores for example in Sorrento but for a little higher price. But as it promises there is indeed several kinds of delicacies made of citrus fruit as well as Limoncello (which you can also find from many other stores).

i think such places are there to make a fool out of you just because its a fancy shop where fancy people work at a fancy location they charge you fancy like really fancy .., nothing extraordinary in the flats they make .. you can simply find such shoes/flats in any other simple store at much less price.

It's been 10 years since I was here, but I still to this day have great memories of this little shop. I was introduced to lemoncello and loved it. I have since tried to find another that is as good as Sapori Di Capri and I'm still looking. Too bad they don't ship to the US.

Our guide on Capri took us to the city of Anacapri, then took us to a lemoncello shop. The lemon and orange chocolate samples were wonderful so we purchased several bars of chocolate - these were terrible! The were grainy and chalky - not creamy & smooth like the samples.
We have not yet tried the lemoncello and lemon cream liquors that we bought. These, too, were very good in the shop. Our friends gave away some of the liquors and chocolates for gifts - they have to apologize to their friends and relatives now. What a shame - they could have a wonderful product if they weren't trying to rip off tourists!

Food here is average. Prices are too high for what you get. Other places offer better value. This is a typical tourist trap as is most of the places on this island.

Truly amazing quality and craftsmanship - this from a shoe-lover. One lady in our group purchased three pairs. You can order bespoke sandals and they will be prepared for you in about 15 minutes. Prices begin at 80 euros which is a bargain considering you have a unique pair of sandals. Fun to watch the craftsman working. The sky is the limit here - add the crystals. Unique shopping experience! Substantial soles ok for foot support.

What a wonderful store and people... I bought lots of things and had them shipped home. When they got here, several of the chocolate items were melted. I emailed them and they are sending a duplicate order... Such service. My only regret was not buying a pair of shoes there !!!!

Although it was a long ride from Rome, (about 3 hrs.) it was very worth it. The views from the "ski lift" were breathtaking. We got lucky and were able to go into the Blue Grotto. The lunch which was included in the tour price was good, only thing I would think the sodas and lemonade would be included as well. It was a seperate charge. We were taken into a store where we were able to sample some lemoncello. I bought some delicious lemon cookies. Our guide tour, Pino was full of talk about the history of Capri. I really enjoyed talking with him. Nina was also very informative. I would have liked to spend more time in Capri than AnaCapri, but we did have some time to shop and look around. I will do this tour again if I find myself in Rome in the future. I would recommend spending a night on the Island if you have the time......and money. lol
