Avery nice arboretum with flower gardens and pond. This park is well maintained and is a pleasure to visit at different times of the year.

Kent Park and Arboretum is a lovely spot in Webster, NY offering expansive lawns, beautiful plantings that range from a collection of conifers, ponds, more formal gardens, and a clubhouse that can be rented for events. It is a great place to relax and take in the beauty of trees, shrubs, and flowers.

Free! So far this beautiful botanic garden is free and open to the public. Wow. There are so many different trails and gardens to enjoy. Plus, you can bring your well-behaved leashed dog with you! Such a delight.
KEEP DOGS WELCOME! PLEASE bring poo bags, too, if you bring your dog. If you bring your dog please also bring out their droppings and dispose of them appropriately so other dogs will be welcome, too. This is a “Carry In; Carry Out” park so there are NO trashcans for throwing anything away.
With that said, this park has a great variety of plants and trees to share. While there I found a rose garden and a lily garden plus two other flower gardens that included dahlias and daisies among other beautiful flowers. I’m not a gardener, but do enjoy taking pictures of flowers and really enjoyed the two colorful gardens just off the parking lot as you enter the botanic garden land. They were filled with summer flowers during my visit in August drawing in butterflies and bees. Bright and colorful.
There are many crushed rock paths for people to use and benches for people to enjoy while wondering through the amazing diversity of trees. Benches and other resting areas are found along the crushed rock trails. Further back in the gardens there are wooded sections in which the trail is merely a mowed section of the woods. Truly, there is a lot to enjoy here.
One of my favorite areas is around the pond in this park. There are a couple bridges that go over the pond, plus a dolphin sculpture and wetland borders that draw frogs, turtles, and dragonflies. If you look closely, you can sometimes see fish in the pond, too.
Well worth your time if you enjoy being out in the domesticated wilderness.

We usually drop by when we want to have a quick walk outside, the trails on this park are short and the trees (some of them) have plates showing the scientific name of the trees, they have a clubhouse, gazebo and baseball and soccer fields, when is really hot or cold its a convenient place to do a quick visit. They also have a small playground we take the kid to, before or after a quick walk.

This is a really nice park that contains a nice mixture of ball fields, picnic areas and walking trails. It is not huge in size, but it covers the gamut of activities. There is also an arboretum in another part of the park, but I did not visit there. This would be a great place for a large picnic gathering. I do recommend it.

This is a family favorite because there is something everyone in our family enjoys. I love seeing the variety of trees, flowers, and shrubs in the arboretum. My kids love the combination of the playground, paths, trails, and softball fields. We've taken our Christmas pictures here many times, there are big rocks and evergreens that are perfect for it. Friends of ours were married here, but usually very quiet without too many people.

Wander teh trails, view the gardens, the trails, the pond, the bridges and way to the back and over a bride is a playground for kids. We adults love it and our grandchildren also love it - they ask to go there. The gazebo is large and lovely, there is a small facility for gatherings. Get out and walk and really enjoy this little gem in the Webster community!

Well kept landscaping, flowers, trees and shrubs with maintained trails to walk on. Lovely playground and numerous ball fields. Great place to picnic, hike or just take the kids for an outing. Clean fixed bathrooms are not portapotties.
