This boat trip heads out early in the morning because of the winds increasing later in the day. This trip was again booked through Peru-Hop. We saw the Candelabro sand sculpture on the way, thousands of birds, sealions and penguins. Take a hat, sunglasses, sun...More

Our tour was organized through Monica Tours. We stayed overnight in Paracas and took one of the first boats out in the morning. Yes, it was on the cool side, so I recommend sitting towards the front of the boat to take advantage of the...More

Tourists visiting Peru will be pleasantly surprised to find out that you don’t need to go to the Galapagos Island to experience nature and wild life in majestic form. Islas Ballestas is full of wild life, from sea lions to Peruvian penguins, dolphins, crostations and...More

There are thousands of sea birds flying around. Saw several sea lion too. For penguins, looks very cute, but we can only see them from far away. Hope we could see them much closer.

This was pretty much a 4hr each way trip from Lima and if this was all we were to do, I would have been extremely unhappy. We went with PeruHop and they were ok - nice coach, but somewhat dis-organised with regards to the boat...More

Dress warm, it’s cold and windy on the open boat. Sit on the left side of the boat for best picture opts.

We were there in April and, yes, I did get a sense there were always penguins there. Fascinating place regardless!
