We visited the ski center in Dec. 2016, while staying in Santiago. We stopped about half way up to enjoy the mountains and the large storm boulder dwelling . It was adventure riding in the van around those 40 hairpin turns!! And what a wonderul surprise to not only experience the height and depth of the mountains on a warm... More

Enjoyed lunch in the restaurant on a warm summers day...went for a walk up the mountain but the air is certainly thin and left you out of breath very quickly. We could imagine what is would be like in Winter and it was certainly worth the visit.

One suggestion: TAKE THE SKI CLASSES!!! this place is absolutely beautiful. But the only way down the mountain is skiing so dont be cheap and take the classes if not youre going to struggle. The food is incredibly expensive, so unless you bring your own food you have no choice but to buy it. It gets incredibly full so try... More

It's a really beautiful place. I love the snow, and when I went here I feel in love with snow and the perfect landscape. You can eat all of kinds of fast food and play in the snoww all day, or go to ski. Was a perfect travel.

First of all, valle nevado is very close to the city, so if you are here for a congress, business or just visiting, Valle nevado is your place. Personally, I stayed at an apartment of the hotel, as I came with family. I don´t have enough words to describe the great experience we had. I was skiing in the many... More

I think the main highlight of Valle Nevado is the journey through the mountains to the top of it! the one who have been in Alps, I would not suggest to take a ski lift to go on the top of the mountain, while you will not see more than from area of hotels and it is too expensive too.... More

Zero customer service in the Valle Nevado Ski Resort by pushing the combo of cable car + lunch at the Don Giovanni restaurant to be paid (in advance) at the ski resort entrance. Ski resort attendants do not respect customers with a bad, very bad attitude. Disorganized and cheating customers with a prepaid menu sold at the ski entrance (a... More

Being on top of the Andes gives you an amazing view, surrounded by mountains with a lot of snow. The height is about 2500 m, so get dressed well. You can also rent or buy ski equipment from the resort. You should take the telepherique.Half day is to short to do things, so go for a full day or more.

Amazing! Visited in October and still plenty of snow. Quite cold with the wind. Altitude is nearly 10,000 feet above sea level so that can take some getting used to. Had a wine tasting and there is a nice restaurant to take a coffe. Views can't be beat.
