I have come back to this place, off and on, for more than a decade, and every time I wonder why I do so… The answer is always the same: we live in Brazil, like skiing a lot, have little children and if we want them to ski more than once or twice a year, we need an option for... More

Visited in March which is the end of their summer and the views were incredible. Winding roads up the mountain encountering goats and cyclists along the way. Not recommended if you get car sick as there are over 50 180 degree turns. The condors flying overhead was the highlight of the visit.

Valle Nevado is a nice ski area. We must start from the beginning, I have travelled with my 2 kiss (10 and 7) I bought a 7 day package at the resort (Friday to Friday). I arrived in Santiago around 1:30 pm on Friday. However, the road only can be used uphill until 2:00pm. That said I had to stay... More

The idea is good, close to Santiago but the road is curvy to escalade 3.000 meters altitude, so it takes almost as much as Portillo. Slopes are good, balanced for all levels. My kids loved it (7, 13 & 15). Hotel is fair, a family environment, the food is OK. But be patient and forgiven because the service is pretty... More

We drove with no complications on Wednesday. We rent all equipment at the bottom of the road as it is cheaper than in the station. Enjoyed a wonderful sunny day skiing in all blu and green slopes. The only downside was that the cable car closed at five in the evening.

There are a hole bunch of slopes options to any type of ski you have (begginer, intermediar, expert). The only thing i think it would be better are the liftings. They only have one closed lifting the othera are open or you have to go on your equipment holding while it goes up. They have cannons of snow to make... More

We took a day tour to Valle Nevado from Santiago. Including the stops to arrange gear hire it took us more than 2 hours to get there, firstly because the trip organiser was arranging pick ups from lots of hotels and secondly because the road into Valle Nevada is slow and very, very, very windy - something like 35+ hairpin... The first thing to say is that we were intending to go to Farellones not Valle Nevado, but poor signage meant we missed the turn-off and kept going up the mountain another 11km to this more exclusive ski resort. Once there, we were told it was more expensive than Farellones but we didn't want to waste time going back. The... More

Valle nevado is an excellent place for those people who love ski or just want to learn how to do it! Kind of expensive, but amazing structure. I strongly recommend that place
