Quiet Beach

This beach is less crwoded than the first beach, less crowded and more quiet. There are mostly a few people selling Bahianan sweets.

My Brazilian friend & I spent a fast 4 days here and Loved every minute! Our mornings were spent walking up through town shopping & sight-seeing. Our afternoons were spent at the hotel's pool (Pousada Minha Louca) or the beach enjoy the view, weather & laid back feeling! At night we again wandered through town looking for a nice place... Very commercial however it is the place to find out about what is going on at night. I was hit in the entire time and was approached even before I laid my kanga down. I'm sure they are use to constantly going up to travelers....

Nice beach, some waves, many annoying people wanting you to go to their restaurants. It kept me really angry walking over there

Food is not the greatest but atmosphere is best on this praia at Morro. Try the beverage cocktails made from fresh fruit, Budda beach has a great Moqueca but the boat of fish (barco de peixe) is not that great.

Safe beach, clean water, good drinks and staff to serve you all the time! The prices in the restaurants is much cheaper if you buy drink or food from your chair on the beach!

As the title suggests, this is the only beach where things happen. Most of the resraurants, bars, shops and mini-makets are here. Some restaurants offer live music. Prices are fair (around $20,00 for a dish for 2), waiters are helpful and the food is quiet good. Swimming is pretty safe. The water is warm and calm, specially during low tide.

If you've never been on an island, you're losing a nice feeling. Morro de São Paulo is amazing. You'll find many restaurants and a warm water at the second beach.
