This suggestive glacier is part of the Los Glaciares national park in Argentine Patagonia. We were able to see the glacier on a long catamaran trip departing from Punta Bandera. An unforgettable spectacle for the beauty of the glacier front and the numerous icebergs spotted by the colors amazing with a thousand shades of blue and light blue. Not to be missed!

I did the boat tour to see all graciars and had a great time. The whole experience is immersing in the theme, and it was spectacular.

On December 12 2018, my wife and I embarked on a glacier navigation in Argentina Lake. We took a boat trip from Punta Bandera Port. We sailed through the North Arm of Lake Argentino until Upsala Channel to see the Ice Barrier. After photoshots of the Iceberg, we approached the Spegazzini Glacier, highest in the National Park. Jostling to the front of the boat, we managed to take snapshots of the mighty Spegazzini Glacier. The panoramic view of the glacier is a sight to behold. We were up close and personal with the glacier.
The photos taken were worth a thousand words!

Very suggestive and spectacular glacier cames down from a mountain. The best way to go near this glacier is a boat tour. ++

Spegazini is a bit like Perito Moreno, but by far not that impessive. The Upsala combination is not worth the money, you can hardly see it in the distance as they do not come ver close.

If you see this glacier after you've been to Perito Moreno, maybe it doesn't bow you just as much, but at any rate I found it positively dazzling because it's monumentally big and the boat came really close to it -- to the front wall, that is. It is really beautiful, specially as you'll be floating on the indescribable waters of Lago Argentino, and in front of the monumental ice mass with barely a few other people around you. Much much recommended.

There are so many options to see the beautiful glaciers that Patagonia has to offer. This is obviously not one of the main highlights that are most visited, but if you have the time or are looking into a boat cruise that includes this one, I highly recommend it. You can get quite close and as this is two glaciers coming together it's unique to see.
