Purchased a Groupon Spa day. The Spa is clean with good supply of towels and robes. Dead sea pools and sulphur pools were good. Massage was average , just 30 minutes. Hamam was an extra, and guarded! Lunch was included, but very poor. Food was cold and tasteless. Outside pool was good, but very noisy with ball games played by the pool.

We did not stay overnight here, but we got a daily pass to use the facilities. 200 shekils included lunch, the use of the pool, lockers, and private access to the dead sea.

We were travelling through Israel and wanted to see the Dead Sea. On the advice of one of our guides, we elected to check out the Spa at the Lot Hotel. It was 140 shekels for admittance which give you access to the beach and pools as well as the locker room. The beach is nice and it is easy access to the Dead Sea. It is also nice to have the freshwater pool options. The locker rooms were small and cramped but at least we were able to shower and clean up before hitting the road. Overall, the facilities are acceptable, but certainly nothing great. The staff is friendly and accessible.
I think this is a good option if you are just doing the Dead Sea as a day trip. It is cheaper than a hotel room and you can clean up when done playing in the Dead Sea.

We came for a spa day, the impression of the spa was made by an unpleasant representative .
The information about the whereabouts of the facilities was shot at us.
Our treatments were ordered at the same time.Two actually were submitted on time. Unfortunately I capped waiting.one of the spa personnel came out and called a name , which wasn’t my , 10 minutes later I’ve asked him if there might be a mistake and he’s waiting for me. The answer I’ve received was rude , if I’m calling a name and it’s not yours, sit and wait for someone to call you. I had to go and find out why my treatment delayed.
Figures a mistake was made.the staff was not taking responsibility, all the situation was unpleasant unprofessional. I had to wait a few more hours to get the treatment. The management has made sure to tell me how hard they worked to get me a spot, so I have to be thankful.
I just wanted to get done with this poor service experience.

We purchased the ‘Fun Pass’ for the Spa at the Lot Hotel. My parents and I went primarily for the Dead Sea (in lieu of using one of the public beach accesses in the area) and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the mud treatment at the spa (a welcome entitlement as a result of the pass purchase). We also enjoyed the lunch buffet (pseudo-pro tip - try to go early so you avoid the tour bus rush). The facilities at the hotel were nice - including the lobby area, the pool area and the beach itself. I would only ding the spa slightly for the cleanliness of the treatment room itself, which was not 100% (but the mud treatments are quite messy in any event). The only other thing that was a little disappointing was that we were hoping to have a real shower to use after the sip in the Dead Sea but ended up using the ones on the beach for convenience sake. Well worth the money if you want to go for a few hours to rest and relax.

An okay spa: you pay to get in, get access to lockers, towel, indoor pool with Dead Sea Water, outdoor pool and beach by the Dead Sea. Procedures are optional, to be booked and paid for at the reception - we went for a mud wrap. It was fun.

It is great to be able to walk out easily into the Dead Sea. And the massages which we had were excellent using hot oil and shells or stones.
But:
The lunch buffet is “average minus” with an ok range of salads, a very variable selection of hot dishes and the nasty little squares of unidentifiable puds which you sometimes see on hotel buffets;
The major let down is the changing rooms. The men’s is tiny, with small lockers and one pathetic little bench. And it gets very busy. Half of the showers were broken. The floor was filthy. Only right towards the end of the day was there any attempt to clean the place or clear the mounds of discarded towels. My wife tells me the Ladies’ was similar.

Hi, would it be possible to get a day pass even if we're not staying at any of the hotels around the Dead Sea? We're thinking of driving there just for the afternoon and would like to use the facilities.
