We walked through the village and encountered this lovely church. Well maintained. We burned a candle, like we always did The novene were to my knowledge quite expensive, we normally pay halve the price of 10 Euros. Still beautifull churche!

As long as you're enjoying the views and quaint streets of the village, you should stop in the church. It's not really historic, but Sainte Cirq was a real person and you can learn about her, Also, there's some reproduction of old drawings (maybe Roman).

Charged car parking is a short steep walk to the village. The twisting narrow cobbled streets and characterful houses are delightful. Wood turning, boutiques and restaurants. The scale of the church is massive compared to the surrounding dwellings. Brilliant 7km walk (in total) along the...More

The outside may be more interesting than the inside, but you will learn who Saint-Cirq was, at least. You get the idea this is a well-loved and well-tended church.More

Thank you for your advice @MS4866, the Church is dedicated to St Cyr who gave his name to the town. It was built in the XVI th century and it's one of the nicest monument to visit in our town. Inside, you have the former...More

Small church with little bit information on whonSt Cirq was, some nice stained glass windows and frieze with a copy of old Roman paintings found on excavation. As in the whole area it does not have disabled access.

With a middle age architecture, the church fits perfectly in the village, giving the impression that we live in middle age. Honestly, the church is more beautiful outside than inside, but we can see that the church organizes activities for the population.
