Dhow Cruise to Mnemba Island reef for Snorkeling | Full-day + Lunch

14 reviews
This is one of our must-do activities that you will not want to miss while you are in Zanzibar. The tiny but exceptional Mnemba reef offers indeed some of the best and most spectacular spots in the whole Archipelago, if not in East Africa.

On this trip, we might (85% chance) see dolphins while cruising from Nungwi to Mnemba, we will stop for a while and you can enjoy seeing dolphins swimming, also you can take photos. Also, there is a Sandbank beside Mnemba Island, we might go there after snorkeling when it is low tides.

Mnemba is well known for the excellent clarity of its waters ( for this area of the Indian Ocean) and the unusually prolific and diverse corals and tropical marine life where you can able to see a lot of colorful fishes while Snorkeling.

Some of the species that you can see at Mnemba reef include; Angel Fish, Blue Spotted Rays, Black Snappers, Groupers, Red Tooth Triggers, Flounder, Octopuses, Leaf Fish, Scorpion Fish, Stone Fish, Frog Fish and lots of Trevallies.

I got a chance to visit this beautiful historic building but there were no live performances currently due to COVID-19 but I got a chance to tour the building. There were several performers practicing and classes going on at the time. Wonder building and staff.

Need to be supported. A great School, a réal human project. We met incredible people there. We saw 3 concerts by DCMA in Stone Town and Jambiani. A must do and see in Zanzibar. Don't hesitate to make a donation to support them

Inside the beautiful building, in the patio, you will get to enjoy live music every night by 8pm. Local young professional musicians will create a magic atmosphere were you will navigate, dance and feel Zanzibar's rhythms and melodies. By enjoying this gigs in Stone Town you are actually supporting the NGO that runs this project: empowering youth through music in Zanzibar. Personally, meeting the musicians was the best piece of my time in this island. hugs!

Exceptional place bursting with creativity, a must visit for those interested in music. Regular concerts on the top floor. High standard. We went to 2 concerts, Taraab and Swahili music, both were highlights of our trip. Love!
