Zanzibar Experience did an amazing job with accommodating myself and my group for my birthday trip. They organized all of our taxi services and excursions. We were blessed to go to Mnemba Island and go see the sea titles on the same day. We did the Mikumi day safari, spice tour, stone town tour, and went to the Rock Restaurant. We were in Zanzibar for 4 days and we're able to do everything. Charles was amazing and so was his staff. We didn't have to worry about anything because Zanzibar Experience took care of everything for us. They definitely made sure I enjoyed my birthday celebration to the fullest. I definitely recommend them for all your needs if you're going to Zanzibar.

We went on a trip to Mneba Island where we did snorkeling and looked for starfish. After a wonderful lunch at the beach afterwards we have been take to Tazari Chameleon Reserve which was a lovely experience. Charles was our driver and he has been perfect. Unfortunately me and my 7 year old son had to go on our owns as my partner wasn’t feeling well. We felt absolutely save and well looked after all the time. Charles was very organized and knew his way around the island. Extra wished were no problems at all and he made our day really pleasant! On top of that he has a great personality and there is nothing not to like! Thank you very much Charles, for this amazing day! I absolutely recommend Zanzibar Experience!

“Our tour guide in Zanzibar was amazing! They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip so enjoyable. They showed us beautiful spots, shared interesting stories, and ensured everything went smoothly. Highly recommended!”

Careful guide 🤌🏽
Arriving in Dar Essalam at midnight, Charles is already ready in front of the airport with his driver.
A comfortable 5-hour drive to start a 2-Night Safari in Mikumi. Very clean car is also spacious
Before the Safari Charles and our French-speaking guide Rachidi (our French-speaking guide++❤️❤️❤️) we helped to braid my wife, result ❤️🙏🏽❤️😂
The Safari starts very well, always very attentive, the explanations the stops... in fact Charles has a talent for photography (🤫🤫🤫 don't tell him anything he probably doesn't know it)
On the way back, we demanded a departure from Mikumi at 4 a.m., again Charles is there telling us HAKUNA MATATA (no problem)
Arrival in Dar Essalam for the ferry towards, still he didn't let us go, before arrival he had already bought the tickets (which we paid without commission). He assisted us with check-in and boarding (the Port is a real Jungle
Ayaya arranged everything except the first deal (the Safari) without commission until we arrived in Nungwi.
We also forgot our drone in the taxi which we found thanks to him 😅

Magical moments at Mnemba Island! A captain who found the right moments to see dolphins, breathtaking snorkeling spots and an unforgettable swim away from the world and the crowds. All at an unbeatable price!

This was my first trip to Tanzania and I feel very fortunate to have had Charles as my guide along the way! From beginning to end, he ensured that I had a great experience. I started in Dar Es Salaam and went on the 3-Day Safari to Mikumi National Park; it was incredible!! We visited the Maasai Village which was a generous and beautiful learning experience on the 1st day. Then the 2nd day was the Game Drive. I am still in awe at all the animals I saw in their natural habitats and the guide, Tony was incredibly knowledgeable and explained things really well. I really appreciated that Charles also captured photos and footage that I could have afterwards because as a solo traveler it’s harder to have footage of yourself on the trip. It did rain the morning of my Game Drive and it still was an incredible trip (because I was worried about that). If you are visiting Tanzania and Zanzibar, I HIGHLY recommend booking Charles as your guide!! He gave me great recommendations and helped me with transfers, which ensured that I had a safe and enjoyable trip. Looking forward to the next time I come back and hopefully with more people :-)

From start to finish my experience with Charles the Owner and operator of Zanzibar Experience was amazing. As soon as I stepped off the plane I was whisked away to a sandbar/beach that had the most incredible sunsets I have ever seen.
Each day was better than the next. The tours were incredibly affordable. Charles was timely with all of the pickups and at each location made sure that everything I needed for a great experience was already set up. I highly highly recommend Zanzibar experience to anyone visiting this piece of paradise.

We met Charles on our first Zanzibar vacation in 2018. Now five years later we were back in Zanzibar. Of course all trips with Charles. We pretty much grazed the entive Island with him. Seen and experienced a lot. We can only recommend Zanzibar Experiance and will undertake all excursions with Charles on our next Zanzibar holiday. Hakuna Matata and we will meet again.

We lived an important part of our first experience in Zanzibar with Charles.
First, the 3 day safari in Mikumi. The driving was nice from Dar to Mikumi and also from Mikumi to Dar, we visited a Massaï village and learned a lot about their way of living. The stay was in a good hotel near Mikumi park, the staff of the hotel were very nice and caring during all the stay. Then we went to the Safari and saw many animals especially the big 4 and the driver/guide was very nice and professional.
Second, we went to visit Nakupenda island and Prison island. The tour was very nice, we saw the giant turtles and learned about the history of the prison island then we went to relax in Nakupenda and have lunch and fruits there. Nakupenda is as beautiful as in the pictures we saw before, so we were very satisfied. The trip to these 2 islands was with a fantastic guide, Moundir, who explained us everything and assisted us from the beginning to the end. He also speaks french very well so it is very good for french speaking people like us 😄.
Finally we went to Mnemba, where we saw dolphins and swim with them. We also did snorkeling and saw too many beautiful fishes near the corals. The captains on the boats were very friendly and professional.
We want to say BIG THANKS to Charles who organized all these trips for us! Charles is friendly, professional, and cares a lot about his guests. We definitely recommend Zanzibar Experience.

Zanzibar experience is the best option to plan your trip to Zanzibar. They are super flexible and always answer fast to messages which make things easier. The excursions are exactly as described and the prices are reasonable. People are nice and happy to help and share information about the culture.
