Fantastic place. Really lovely welcome, stunning view with facilities! We got the ferry to ile aux cerf from trou d’eau as didn’t fancy the catamaran and walked the coast line of IAC. Walked past the commercialised crowded bit and onto 4 seasons beach front who would not sell to anyone that wasn’t a resident. Carried on until we got here who welcomed us to buy food and drink and use their facilities for a couple of hours. Stunning spot, friendly staff - yes it is expensive but so is everything on the island and it is a lovely spot. We really enjoyed it - was just what we were hoping for.

Following your round of golf or just spending a day on the beach, this restaurant is heaven. One of the best beach locations I have ever been to and the food is superb. But the best thing about it is the extremely warm welcome extended by Shameem and his team. Service with a smile and witty/amusing interaction with all the guests. Thank you so much Shameem. La Flibuste . Best beach restaurant of Mauritius. Excellent atmosphere . Pleasant staff and led by Charismatic Head of Restaurant Mr Shamim. Made our day ! A spot not to be missed . We will go back certainly.

For our honeymoon, my husband and I prebooked a private beach dining experience direct with the Golf Club before visiting Mauritius from the UK in Sep-Oct 2023, and we were not fully aware when we booked of just how exclusive and amazing this experience would be. It was honestly exceptional value for money and because we were staying at sister hotel Long Beach, we were able to add the cost onto our room bill to pay at the end of our stay in Mauritius. We were picked up on the evening of 26th September 2023 by a private boat at night at the jetty and taken on a golf cart through the golf course to a dark beach. We assumed beforehand that we would just be eating at a private table in a beach restaurant, however it completely exceeded our expectations to find that we had the whole beach to ourselves for the whole evening and would be catered for by the very best and friendliest of staff; Nitish our waiter, Major the chef, and Varoon and Guyaume who did a beautiful job of lighting candle torches along the beach as we walked along, and strung fairly lights and scattered petals all around us, and lit a fire for us! They also took lots of photos and videos for us. It would make a gorgeous spot for an engagement and was perfect for our honeymoon. Nitish and the staff were on hand all evening to cater for us and did a fantastic job. As did our taxi driver from Long Beach who waited at the jetty all evening for us, our boat taxi driver, and golf cart drivers, and the rest of the staff that made this experience so special. Also thanks to Kiran who helped us arrange the booking and transport effortlessly in advance by email. Nitish explained he was always looking for unique experiences to put on at the golf club, and this one was honestly one of a lifetime for us. We'll never forget it. We'll always remember Major (who has been a chef at the golf club for many year)'s fabulous cooking on the barbeque for our delicious 4 course meal, and the pineapple pudding was one of the best desserts I've had! A beautiful job and wonderful staff. I honestly can't recommend it enough, and I hope one day that we can return to meet all the staff again and experience it all over again!! To Nitish and the staff, thank you so very much for creating such a special and exclusive experience, and for a wonderful evening. It was the best night of our lives!

We had the luxury to play this amazing island course 5 times! The boat ride to the jetty on the island is one of a kind. The course is unbelievable and has some real challenges, already starting at the 1st hole. But wait till you get to the signature hole, hole 11, with breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff is incredibly helpful, picked us up from the jetty and made sure our buggy was ready to go during each round. Afterwards we were presented nice refreshing towels, while they took care of our clubs. Tip: leave your golf bags at the club if you intend to play multiple rounds, they're in great hands! Make sure to have lunch at the club house restaurant, Sydney and Kevin are superb hosts and the food is simply great.
