The beach itself is quite nice but quite crowded. Also as there are many hotels with lounge chairs on the beach, space for the public is more limited. Good for swimming.

Fine white sand, gentle descent to the water, palm trees and good infrastructure. Crowded over the weekend. In some places it is good to have special water shoes due to corals. A lot of boats and people trying to sell us something. Nevertheless, for me...More

Suck in the raw beauty this place has to offer. Highly recommended and a great place for South African's due to the relative ease of travel to Mauritius! TIP! Pack sun block and DON'T Forget AFTERSUN to help heal the sunburn.

Pleasant and well protected from the wind. Some very pleasant snorkeling if you swim out toward the back on either the left or right side of the bay. Persevere over all the dead/broken stuff! The glass bottom boats will also take you just behind the...More

Our family spend a lovely afternoon here.... white sand, clean blue water... the only negative was some sharp rocks and coral that cut our feet but otherwise a beautiful spot.
