I can only recommend going on a kayaking trip with Yemaya! Paddeling across the lagoon and through the mangroves of Ile d'Ambre was a wonderful experience, calm and in harmony with nature. It's nothing thrilling or adventurous, but that is exactly what we appreciated. If you want to escape the more touristy areas and get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect trip. Our guide was very toughtful and caring and explained a lot about the ecosystem surrounding the island. We felt very safe at all times and enjoyed it very much. Don't hesitate to book with them!

We took a 3h kayak tour at Ile d'Ambre and it was a great experience. Everything was handled very well and extremely professionally. The tour was fun and interesting, the guide was very friendly and helpful.
All materials are provided, including sea shoes and waterproof bags (if you don't have your own).
Reaching the meeting point is not easy, but we received clear instructions and step-by-step guidance via WhatsApp.
Suitable also for non-experienced kayakers, strongly recommended!

I'm a passionate cyclist, and during my last visit to Mauritius I wanted to rent a road bike. It was hard to find, but I was recommended to contact Yemaya Adventures.
Patrick, the owner of Yemaya, was able to provide a good roadbike and the right size. And with the necessary tools, pump etc.
Thanks for good servicPatrick!

My self, my husband and 14 year old son booked a kayak excursion with Yemaya Adventures.
We were greeted by Kevin and Evin who both took us out on the water and they were great!
It was a pretty choppy sea the day we went so they towed us over to the Mangrove where it was very calm and peaceful.
Kevin is full of knowledge and a great guide.
I have already booked another kayak trip for guests coming to visit!

We enjoyed our kayak trip with Patrick to the mangrove island Isle d’Ambre very much. It was very beautiful and we also did a short walk on the island with a nice coffee and cake break. Patrick tells you interesting facts about flora, fauna and history throughout the trip and has a friendly and calm personality. We definitely recommend this activity and Yemaya 👍
We were 4 participants on the tour (with another couple). Before reaching the departing spot, you need to pass a barrier to private grounds. There is a guy whom you just need to tell your activity.

We had a great morning with Patrick and his team. We toured Bras d’Eau, Roches Noir and the surrounding area and coast. He is a great guide: land, sea, lava tubes, flora and fauna. The trip really exceeded our expectations. The terrain is great for new and for experienced mountain bikers- a little on road and plenty of fun off road. My 13 year old son and I really enjoyed it.

That’s not only a kayaking activity. The best above all was learning about the mangroves, how they grow, the desalination process and its importance in the ecosystem. Having the chance to Snorkel and see some of the fishes that are close to the roots and cross the very narrow paths within the mangrove with great explanations from the 2 friendly guides. A stop in the island for a short walk and a warm coffee and home made cake picnic was the final flourish.

Paddling through the mangroves in the beautiful blue water and learning about this amazing part of the ecosystem is one of the best experiences you can have on the island. Patrick and his crew are highly professional and you always feel save. Our tour had a good vibe and we had a lot of fun. Oh and you get the snorkel in the mangroves, so definitely bring your mask.

Half day kayak, very enjoyable and nice views of mangroves and mountains. Kevin was our guide and was helpful, friendly, humourous and relaxed, a perfect host. Short snorkel was fun too. Seems just slightly expensive compared to other trips in Mauritius (small group though) and not a thrill ride so 4 out of 5.
