It was very hot the day we were at the bazaar so it was hard to stay too long. There is lots to see and the prices are reasonable. There are lots of restaurants and the beach is close by. Definitely worth browsing around.
Smaller than the famous markets of Port Louis but has all the right stuff. Despite being a popular tourist spot we found some better prices. As usual a little haggling is required between stall to find the right price.
A fascinating market filled not only with local souvenirs and trinkets, but a variety of clothes, baskets, tablecloths and much more.
The sellers are wonderful, warm, friendly people, happy to bargain and go the extra mile to find you what you want.

most stalls are open by 10, but you can get some early morning specials if you get there a little earlier. prepare to bargain, start at a third. it is a lot cheaper than port Louis and a better buying experience, but of you can you should visit the main market including the meat market in port Louis it is a real eye opener.
