Loads of fake designer clothes and bags ,shoes ,table cloths and other souvenir stuff. Small and cramped but good fun to look around . Bargain then bargain some more with sellers .They can get a little pushy but nothing like I've experienced in Turkey ....just a simple "No thank you " was enough .

Tucked away 3 or 4 minutes walk from the main harbour road. Full of fakes and tourist rubbish, which is a shame. Far better to go to the local major supermarket in the town which has some of the same local souvenirs but for less

Go for the experience but if you like quiet shops then this is not the place. As you enter you are bombarded by every stall owner. It's cramped with most stalls all selling the same stuff. Each one will tell you their quality is better than the rest. Check prices as you can easily pay too much. Bargain and bargain... More

A quick visit to this place would be fun. Bargain is the main rule… they would quote anything make sure to ask for good price and I am sure you would land shopping lots of souvenirs and gifts for family and friends.

Good experience to look around, most stalls sell the same thing, worth a trip to buy small gifts. You have to bargain to get the best price

We visited the Grand Baie Bazaar on a day trip to Grand Baie. It has a fun lively atmosphere. No hassle. Plenty of bargains.

Always pay half of the original asking price if you are prepared to bargain. Traders are friendly but pushy and will not leave you alone. Lots to see and you will need some time to go through all.

The walk you take to get there is really nice and it's nice to walk through the culture that is Mauritius. However the actual bazaar is a whole lot of the same things just at shops owned by different people. The owners of the shop like to hover over you which can make you feel quite claustrophobic at times. Prices... More

Not impressed. You get harassed by every stall holder you go near , I was very uncomfortable going there on my own. Nothing you can't get anywhere else.
