We booked the catamaran for flat island with PRINCESS TOURS in Grand Baie. They picked up us at the hotel and we went to Grand Baie with 6 Person in a small car for 4. At the beach in Grand Bay we waited 2 hours and after that time they told us that the tour is cancelled. There was no... More

We booked Calypso Catamaran, from Grand Bay through Mauritius Attraction. It was a great fun with my families. It was big in size and safe journey towards the sea. Enjoying trip with good music, nice view of sea with drinks and delicious Barbecue lunch. Don't miss it, if you are in Mauritius.

We booked our catamaran trip with Coral Belle, which is a company operating catamaran tours from Sunset Avenue, Grand Baie (opposite Aspen's office). The catamaran itself was nice enough, and its crew was very friendly and helpful. There were about 20 of us on board. We visited the island of Ille Gabriel, which was about one and a half hours... We booked the largest of the Cats, the big pink one in the bay (Princess) . No problem with the choice. The crew were helpful and we had a Rasta musician entertaining us on the way back and a great party vibe developed. There was no shortage of drinks on board, the lunch on the beach was no wow factor, but... There are more reviews than catamarans in Grand Baie so inform yourself before you head out to sea. We booked on the Princess (largest bright pink cat in the bay) and were happy with our choice. The crew did a fine job. Lunch was ok and there was certainly no shortage of beer, cold drinks, water or rum on board.... More

All the North Island day cruises on Catamarans are the same. Firstly it all depends on the weather no matter what boat you're on, it's the same sea! All catamarans head off from Grand Bai at about 9am for an hour to 90min cruise to Gabrielle and Flat island. Weather dictates the quality of the cruise. If you get sea... More

You should avoid them at all cost! This was quite possibly the worst experience ever. It was 9 in the morning, and the captain, Richard, was already tipsy, did not provide us with the breakfast that we had been promised, and said that they would serve us some water "on the beach and not before". This was only the beginning... More

3rd time i made a catamaran tour, it was always great but not this time on the zazoublanche. The main problem was that the crew had no intrest at all. If u dont like your job, go and do somethinh else!! 1 - the boat was recently wrongly painted, so your feet stick to the floor 2 - they only... More

Brilliant trip. Guys on board were great - even though they had to deal with arrogant and rude Indians. Service was great, island stunning and food great too. Thoroughly recommend.

We went to Gabrielle Island with TOPCAT catamarans. The ride to the Island takes about an hour and a half and is a fabulous experience. When you get to the island you get to snorkel around but be warned you must wear water shoes as it is very uncomfortable walking in the sea barefoot. The crew do have snorkels and... More
