Look no further, you will NOT be disappointed! Bob and the crew of Finger Lakes Water Adventures were absolutely terrific and made our event memorable.

We recently attended a family wedding in Geneva, and wanted to create a special event for our family reunion. I rented two Pontoon Boats for 14 with 2 captains so all could sit back and enjoy the water and each other as we cruised around Seneca Lake. Stocked with refreshments and our own captain/tour guide, it was a huge success that no one expected. We're still talking about it!

Pro Tip: There is a larger boat that you can go on with many others, but this provided the personal experience of just family that created memories that will last a lifetime.

I am not a boater but I thought there would be a lot of fun to rent a pontoon boat for my birthday. We had eight of us on board including three grandchildren age 10 and under. The folks we rented from we’re very friendly and helpful, especially since we’re not boaters. They gave us a lot of good information on where to go and what we could do with the boat and as long as the weather cooperated, which it did and we had a fantastic day on board. Not a lot of places to visit on Seneca but plenty for us to do and see.

We spent some time on the lake which was choppy early in the day and went down the river for a couple of hours where it was much more relaxing. And when you have the whole day, there’s more than enough time.

We had a lovely ride down the canal and through the lock. Since we selected the 11 to 1 o'clock trip, it was a perfect time to pack a lunch and munch along the 2 hr trip. The tables were compact and yet very comfortable and clean. The boat is designed so that you can see in every direction and still be under a roof that provided shade. did not use the bathroom but felt a lot "safer' knowing it was there if I needed it. The captain shared information about the waterway, and various things we saw along the canal/river. I was thrilled that we had this opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, and friendship of the couple we went with. Thank You to Mr. Stivers and all of his
staff!!!! Wonderful!

The website claims it is a sunset cruise on the lake and in the seneca canal. However, 95% of the time is spent in the canal looking at boring houses in the backwaters. There is nothing scenic or spectacular about it at all. The few minutes spent on the Seneca lake were the best.
Apart from this, the tour did not maintain it timings at all. We had a 4 to 5:15 pm tour but actually ended up leaving around 4:30pm till about 6:15pm. I wish I had read the reviews of other passengers more carefully before booking.

It is not a tour of the lake! It goes from the welcome center to the Seneca River to Waterloo. Captain provides good narration but the riverside is not an interesting place...both employees on board did a very good job with what they had to work with...A tour of even a portion of the northern end of the lake would have been better

We booked a tour of Seneca Lake and ended up only seeing the canal due to us having to drop off bicycles up the canal. I enjoyed the canal but was really more interested in the lake tour that we had booked. I believe we were caught up in a ferry service instead. Crew were friendly but would have enjoyed an invite to come again when they were actually touring the lake.

We rented a pontoon boat on Seneca Lake for a full day yesterday (7/23/21). I would rate them 100%. Making reservation was easy. We were given clear directions on how to operate the boat and how to park it in the marina. It was a fun day!!!!!

Our trip was canceled by the owner because of smoke from Canadian fires, even though the smoke was long gone by sail time at 6pm. They have yet to refund our money. I called and left a detailed voicemail and sent an email as well, but no refund even though the cancellation email states they will refund. I did receive an email thanking me for being their guest and asked me to write a review. Well, here it is and please refund my money for a trip that you canceled.

Very relaxing 2 hour boat ride from the marina down the Seneca Cayuga River to and through Lock 4 in Waterloo, and back again. Guide was informative. Owner of marina also interesting to chat with before and after the cruise. Locking through is a unique experience! Wouldn't recommend for young children, due to length of cruise and no place for them to burn off energy, but for school age children, esp for those who have learned about the Erie Canal, would highly recommend.
Enjoyed seeing a few great blue herons along the way.

My husband and I went on the Seneca Lake Reel tour as well as the Lock 4 and Power Plant tour. Really enjoyed both. The Lock/Power plant tour was free and offered on weekends. The crew was friendly and quite knowledgeable. Narration was both interesting and informative. Boat was comfortable and the ride relaxing. Nice introduction to the Seneca Lake area if you have never been. Highly recommend.
