Found our NEW every summer adventure!

THIS is exactly the experience you hope to have when you think of going white water rafting for the first time! We are sooooooo happy that we chose WWOC out of all the other companies in the area. We really feel we got most bang for our buck by choosing the 17 mile trip with them. The views on the river were AMAZING!! The rapids, so much FUN!! Our guide, Andy, so knowledgeable and experienced on the Hudson. We felt extremely safe as he spun us around, swim in the river, let us jump off huge rocks, and also let us "crash" into some too. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience and have been recommending them to anyone that will listen (lol). I truly already feel sorry for any other company that tries to compete as they've already set the bar really high for our expectations. This was easily decided to be our new must do summertime activity; every summer from here on.

Great family experience!

We had an amazing time on our rafting trip. It was perfect for our family (two children ages 10 and 12). The total trip was just over 2 hours which was a great way to break up the day. The staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They make you feel safe throughout the entire process. Plenty of parking is available however there is not a lot of shelter from inclement weather so be prepared and keep dry towels in your car! Claudia was our raft leader, she knew the water well, knew exactly when we needed to paddle or when we should hold on. Great jokes and stories throughout the rafting and on the short bus ride there.

Will definitely be booking again.

Thrilling, refreshing, memorable

We rented a private raft with friends and had Abby as our guide. She was fun, knowledgeable, and in her second year as a guide she made this trip a memorable one. We did the 17 mile Hudson River trip, had a gorgeous July day with perfect weather, and had a thrilling experience. My 11 year old son paddled for the first time (last 2 times he sat in front as a hood piece) and was extremely anxious and Abby made sure he was comfortable. He paddled a bit, even on the class 4 rapids, and rode in front a bit getting happily smacked in the face with waves. She even let him ride rodeo style in the front on a set of waves as he bucked with one hand until a wave knocked him back into the raft (safely). I jumped off the rock for the first time along with my son. I still can't believe i did it! We come back every year and it's always a bit different since you can't control the rapids and every guide has their own style. I highly recommend this trip.

Awesome time! Fantastic guide!

Four twenty something young adults and parents of three of them. Everyone had a great time. Rafting was great including the "fuzzy box of kittens" rapid and jumping off a high rock. No words can describe our appreciation for our guide James whose experience and knowledge of the river gave us the best possible ride. Plus James shared his extensive travel experiences and was truly a pleasure to talk with. Thanks so much!!

Awesome experience with the kayaks!

Had an awesome experience on our Kayak Ducky trip! We booked a trip over the holiday weekend and were able to snag the last spot- which ended up being lucky for us- it was amazing! Upon check in all staff members were wearing masks and directing customers to ensure proper social distancing. The staff also made sure everyone was wearing a mask until we were off the bus at the river, and then still appropriately spaced us. We received a very organized and instructive check in experience and we were off! The spacing on the bus allowed for great social distancing, and the driver and guide were fun the entire ride. We went out on the kayaks with our guide Linda who was just awesome. A great mix of informative, helpful, safe and fun. Linda honestly made the entire trip worth it- we were hesitant about the inflatable kayaks, with not a lot of prior experience, but she made sure we knew what we were doing and had an awesome time.

Second time rafting! Just as amazing!!!

Our family (total of 6 ages 5, 9, 11, 17, 40, 43) all had a blast. The entire trip from check in, gearing up, bus trip, actual rafting experience, check out process was not only super simple but enjoyable. Chris, our guide, was very thoughtful and friendly with our kiddos and navigated the raft with great care, confidence, and easy going. Izzy who gave instructions during the bus ride was high energy and entertaining. We had a blast and will consider the 17 mile Hudson run for our next trip.

Great day 17 mile rafting on the Hudson

My family of 4, including two kids ages 13 and 11, did the 17 mile rafting trip down the Hudson. Our guide Shannon was awesome. She was personable, knowledgable and kept the raft safe and made the trip fun for all of us. The rapids were perfect and some large enough to keep us on our toes. The boys had a great trip. They make sure that there are 3 spots to swim, and even a chance to jump off a rock. The water could not have felt better on this hot day. All in all, i would highly recommend this trip and this company to everyone. I can tell you firsthand seeing some of the other rafting companies on the water, Wild Waters is easily the most professional and most capable one i saw. Was a fantastic day all around.

Fantastic rapids

Best day ever! Our awesome guide CAT led us safely and fearlessly into the roaring rapids, climbed us up a huge diving rock, floated us along lazy parts of the Hudson. She even watered and fed us a delicious lunch and provided us cookies. What’s not to love?! Great FUN for mom, dad and the 17, 16 & 13 year old boys!!

Great rafting trip on the Hudson!

A++ experience with WW Outdoor Center rafting on the Hudson river (7/15) with my wife and kids (14 & 18). Our guide Tim was the best, kept us safe, talked Marvel universe and Star Wars, told best foot loose story ever as we raced down the river (which was running unusually high for the summer). The entire experience from parking, checking in, gearing up, and bus trip to River was all perfectly organized and sensitive to Covid incorporating social distancing & masks where needed.

Recommend this trip to everyone, it was our best day while vacationing in the Adirondacks!

Excitingly memorable

First white water rafting experience and without a doubt Wild Waters Outdoor made it exciting and memorable. We booked a private 2 hour trip for 11 of us and the price was unbeatable, not to mention the ease of booking and checking in online.
Our tour guide James was the best, he made sure we got WET. His experience, kindness and good natured professionalism really made our trip enjoyable.
