- Fndolly94 contributionsNew York at its finestwonderfully welcomed starting with the professional Valet staff. Warm and friendly staff at the reception desk. Sprawling campus filled with restaurants, bars, sports bars, spa, gym, pool and vast activities. There are many venues (concerts, bands, sports area, shopping) there is something for all. Rooms were clean, well lit, well stocked (no fridge). Pool area was adults and QUIET perfect for a ladies weekend of relaxation and wellness. There is a casino area (Slots, tables, Keno, Bingo) There is a vast food court (Asian, Pizza, Burgers, Shakes, Fried chicken stands) Restaurants are exceptionally staffed with professionals who can assist with any dietary concerns, interests and most importantly suggestions. The pub above the escalator was a true pub. Waitstaff gave so much attention to us in the Italian restaurant )drinks filled, bread basket refilled, sauces, sides) Outside area was clean, accessible and beautiful. So many options for entertainment to choose from. Every single person was kind and afforded guidance or a hello A must try !Visited October 2023Traveled on businessWritten October 22, 2023
- d pLiverpool, New York76 contributionsAllergic reactionWe visited today, enjoyed a nice lunch and then spent maybe2 hours in the casino as well as checking out the shops. Even though we stayed away from the smoking area that the valet told us about, my husband and I both left the property with running eyes and noses. In addition, I developed a headache that 2 advice and 4 hours hasn't abated. There's something awry with their circulation system. We don't think it was cigarette or other smoking products but something added to the circulating air. Never again. And the slots were stingy as well. Too bad. As recent transplants from the Las Vegas valley, we were hoping for a place to gamble and take a staycation.Visited December 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 30, 2023
- Rick k3 contributionsNew Years Eve Bingo at turning stoneWent to New Year’s Eve bingo, had fun but way too crowded! Sitting back to Back at long tables was not fun, especially when the lady behind me refused to move when people had to leave their seats, they should give enough room between tables to move comfortably . The games were confusing as they were playing a pull tab game along with each regular game. They need to put the tables a little farther apart as it was not fun as me and my Wife had to keep moving out of our seats to let people in the aisle to get bye. Especially since the one lady behind my wife refused to move in her seat or get upVisited December 2023Traveled with friendsWritten January 2, 2024
- Maltipoo16New York1,843 contributionsBingo Hall is not the same!Bingo was honestly mush more enjoyable pre covid, and they have not brought back everything that was in the bingo hall before the pandemic. The concessions in the bingo hall is completely shut down, you have to go to the food court outside to get food. All they have is the free soda/coffee machine and the bathrooms now. They don’t have all of the bingo windows open, so there is a long line to purchase bingo and get into the bingo hall. They also do not have the whole bingo hall open, and are making everyone smush together in the front rooms. Also, the staff is incredibly loud during the bingo games, and was making it incredibly hard to hear the numbers being called on the loud speaker!Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten January 3, 2024
- Tonilyn L3 contributionsLove the Bingo and CasinoWe go to Bingo everywhere from Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Foxwoods etc. We absoultly love this Bingo the best. Prices, available monthly coupons, you receive reward points for every dime you spend. We live in Massachusetts and drive here 4 1/2 each way several times a month. We also get free comped rooms for the weekend which is amazing. We definetly recommend you try bingo here.Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten February 12, 2024
- Passport43641357702Dallas, Pennsylvania1 contributionNice most of the timeIt's a nice hotel, the rooms are clean and people mostly very nice. Getting around can be a bit confusing as the aisles go one into the other in the same direction! Many eateries with good food. You have to try the Mexican! The only bad part of the trip was slots EVERYWHERE were tighter than Scrooge's purse! Next time (if there is one!) I'll go prepared and play the minimum ALL the time!Visited March 2024Traveled with friendsWritten April 23, 2024
- pam1 contributionGreat ExperienceStayed at the Sand Hollow Inn because we brought our dog and that is the only property at Turning Stone that allows pets. Hotel was great as were all the employees. Very welcoming and accommodating. Free breakfast was okay, coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom immaculate. Free 24/7 shuttle over to the casino. The casino itself was really nice and there were plenty of table games available. There is a glassed off smoking casino so we didn’t smell any smoke while we were there in the non smoking area. Ate at the Upstate Tavern one night and Pino Blanco the second night. I highly recommend both for their great food, ambience and service. We loved everything about Turning Stone and will be returning in October.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 30, 2024

Staff was above and beyond excited. A first class experience that I'll never forget as long as I live. - Leslie P2 contributionsRecent StayWe spent a weekend at Turning Stone Resort Casino in July. The pros: We had rooms in the Tower. The rooms were up to date, comfortable, and clean. The Tower Lounge lobby bar was great – it’s elevated a bit and open, so you can see a lot from there. A great place to people-watch or wait for a friend. We ate at two of the TS properties: the Upstate Tavern for dinner and Emerald Restaurant for breakfast. The food was good at both, staff was friendly, and service was good. The breakfast menu at Emerald could have used two or three more options. The cons: The table limits were too high – minimum of $25 on Friday night for everything. We didn’t bother to check Saturday afternoon or evening. This is too high for upstate NY. The resort pool scene is poor. They have two pools, the Hotel Pool and the Tower Pool. Neither of them are places where you can relax for the day. They are both indoor. Neither have cabanas, pool bars, or food service. There aren’t many loungers. We didn’t go to the Hotel pool but we did go to the Tower pool. The Tower pool is off the fitness center. It has a handful of loungers and chairs, and is certainly not somewhere to hang out and relax. I’d expect a place that calls itself a resort to have a nice big indoor/outdoor pool with lots of seating and a bar/food. All in all I'd give it 3 1/2 stars.Visited July 2024Traveled with friendsWritten July 22, 2024

Spent three nights and played a lot of slots. What a joke. If you played any more than $1 you got no bonuses at all. if you played the lowest amount you would win some bonuses but they would be like $6 $8 $12. Any bets over a dollar and all you got was dust. Everybody talked about how awful the payouts were. At 8:00 p.m. on Thursday when the place should be packed it was like it was Sunday 3:00 am. It's foolish to play the slots there. Just give him your money and have a good meal. I cannot stress how terrible the slot machines were. Think about it if there's no people to gamble, there's no money to pay out. I've been to turning Stone many many times. there seems to be a gray pall about the place. No smiles no laughing and definitely no payouts. This was the same with the people I came with. Don't waste your time to find out what I have said is true. What a joke!.

My husband and I have been coming to the Lodge and SkaNa for our anniversary for several years. This will be our last visit. My husband booked 2 days worth of spa treatments. To our surprise, we were not allowed to use the spa amenities on the first day because pedicures are excluded from the spa. The booking agent, despite being aware of the intention to use the spa, never communicated the policy. On the second morning, we went down for our spa treatment and were kicked out because there is another new policy that you can’t be in the spa more than 30 minutes before treatment. This was never communicated. I asked why it wasn’t listed on our itinerary and was told that it was in our confirmation email. It is not. We also requested late check out with the booking agent. The morning of checkout we were told they weren’t doing late checkout. Other than the actual server at the restaurant, every employee was hostile and aggressive, robotically repeating COVID policy. While I understand, the need for additional policies, I don’t understand the refusal to communicate and when you do ask for clarification, I absolutely don’t understand the aggressive rudeness. I literally stopped for my id check and photo and was actually yelled at that I didn’t do the photo when I did. My husband and I ended up canceling our massages and left early. It was that uncomfortable to be there.

Since the onset of the pandemic, many casinos have been closed. Turning Stone is open and taking precautions to keep people safe. Over three nights we finally found one machine we had luck on but will not divulge its identity. They check ID licenses on the way in to make sure that you are not a resident of one of Cuomo's forbidden states. Then they take your photo. The casino was very clean and there were people going around wiping down the slot machines. Some machines even told you on the screen when they were sanitized. We went to the Motif Lounge where we had to buy some food (hot dog and chips for $2) and we drank some tasty Middle Ages Syracuse Pale Ale which hit the spot. The bathrooms were spotless. One recommendation is to bring money with you and don't use the ATM's which have fees similar to those charged by the mob. They are outrageous. Example $9 to take out $50.

Semi regulars before Covid, this was our first time back. Main floor looking a bit worn and very little evidence of the type of cleaning you would expect and find at Atlantic City and Vegas casinos these days. Drove quite a ways arrived mid Monday morning to find only one full $15 craps table. Here to before Covid on an early weekday morning you would find a $5 or maybe a $10 table. Craps scene itself crowded around 1 table, not very enticing.

Wow the property was huge. They have the latest slot machines lots of tables and sooooo many food options. You can eat at many quick food places mid range restaurants and many fine dining options. They took the virus serious taking your temps and constantly cleaning the slot machines. They also had self cleaning stations and self serve soda and coffee machines. Can't wait to go back.

Today is my wife's 50th Birthday and she decided to go to the Skana Spa At Turning Stone with 7 friends. Upon arriving they were told that although 6 had spa treatments and one had a manicure, that person with the manicure would not be allowed into the spa and would have to sit out in the lobby while all the others were in there.
After explaining that this was a 50th Birthday and that the group was coming together, they were told that if she wanted to get a spa treatment then she could enter the spa, otherwise no. I guess the $150 for the spa treatment was what they wanted...manicures must not be enough money for this greedy organization.
When my wife returned and told me that she and the other women had to go out in the lobby on a rotating basis just so the other woman didn't have to sit for several hours all by herself. I was furious, this is NOT customer service.
I called and asked to speak to a manager and explained our position and how we were very unhappy with the customer service and that it was completely unacceptable. She basically told me that she was aware of the situation and had spoken to the woman and offered to get her a spa treatment at around 12:30 when everyone else would be wrapping things up. She declined the spa treatment and as a result, had to sit in the lobby.
I explained to her how this was a special occasion that they made less special, that we go there multiple times a year, spend the night, dining, gambling, etc. I also stated that we have gotten to the point where we expect poor customer service at the casino and as a result, the neighborhood will go to Mirabeau Spa in Skaneateles (about the same cost, and customer service is amazing). The response from the supervisor at Skana was "ok, thanks for your feedback".
So...in response, you are welcome for the feedback and we will never go back again.

My girlfriend and I went to play Bingo. The Bingo place was horrific. It was overcrowded, noisy and unorganized. It felt like there were more "ticket" bingo then regular bingo games. These "ticket" bingos played with regular bingo games and was very confusing when "ticket' bingo were yelled while playing regular bingo games. You thought bingo was called for the regular bingo games when it was 'ticket" bingo. These 'ticket" games added an extra 1.5 hours to the bingo session. It was very disappointing and frustrating. It will be a very long time before we would ever consider going back. We definitely would spend our time at Del Largo.

This is my first positive review since 2015 of this particular casino. It's also my 18th. The tribe has proven its up to the task at least for now, in keeping folks safe during the pandemic. They screen you on the way in. Have sanitizing stations throughout the casino along with staff wiping down machines and cleaning restrooms. Check in was very easy this time. Staff was very nice. My room was clean. Security was on top of mask violators. I felt safe.

This was our first time to turning Stone. Let me say, it was a fantastic experience!!! The food is outstanding. Room service is very well done, and the casino is huge! The pricing for the buffet was a pleasant surprise. We are use to paying high prices for Vegas (Bellagio) buffets and when we were charged only $15 pp/lunch (using the TS player card), we were VERY impressed. The cleanliness is top notch! We stayed in the junior suite, and when we walked into the suite, my wife was so impressed with the look and how well it is set up that was instantly agreed this is a keeper. We will be regular customers from here on in!!
P.S. The bingo area was a lot of fun also! We made new friends!

While I am a frequent customer I find the hotel experience the worst of any of my casino stays. When trying to attract customers to come for poker tourneys, the set-aside block is a joke. When trying to book a room for their big tourney well in advance only smoking rooms were available. I asked if there were any other options I was told "take it or leave it", I left it. So, no dinners w my wife, no spa for her or any cocktails. Poor business model people.

Absolutely wonderful they haven't lost any children the past 3 months to drowning. If you have blonde hair you'll love it because it'll match the yellowish water in the pools. Always wear something on your feet, preferably something that grabs because the floors are very icky slippery
Doctors around call 24 hours
Lots of old men in Brazilian bathing suits to watch over the children
