A perfect way to enjoy the day with all ages and some were from all the way from San Diego! Especially during the pandemic, we are safe and healthy in the car while feeding and interacting with the animals. A card is included pictures and names to help identify the animals during the safari. The buffalo herd is majestic and an homage to the Buffalo Bills-very fun! After driving through the safari trail, we parked to wander around the property. The small gift (enforcing masks) was great for Christmas presents and stocking stuffers. The lodge is stunningly beautiful for private events and weddings once the pandemic is in the past. The kids enjoyed feeding fish stopping on the bridge and enjoying fresh air. We packed a picnic and the public bathrooms are clean and easily accessible. It was our 3rd time this year! We highly recommend!

We had a great time at the Animal Adventure. It was so much fun to interact with the animals and have them visit us right at the car. We went in the later afternoon on a Thursday but had no wait to get in and still found the animals to be inquisitive and hungry. I was a little nervous when huge bison surrounded my somewhat new car with their big horns, but we managed to make it out without a scratch (or dent). My kids, 16 and 13, really enjoyed it, too. They have a small animal petting zoo but we didn’t bother with that on our trip. I’m sure that’s a great time, too. This is off the beaten path but well worth the trip!!!

I’m not sure what a normal wait is when cars aren’t driving thru the park, but we arrived on a Sunday around 2:30 and our wait was about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Staff was wearing masks, not all customers but I don’t really care about that, there’s plenty of room to keep your distance. $33 for 2 adults and a 2 year old with a large bucket of pellets. Animals are average - nothing out of this world. The “small animal” petting zoo isn’t really worth $5 a person. It used to be included and it definitely should still be. It’s ok if you want something to do, but I’d be hesitant if you have a larger family . A family of 6 would be approx $78 and I don’t see the value in that. If you do go and if you buy pellets, save some until you get through the turn by the water as you’ll still pass by more bison, zebras, longhorns etc and most vehicles I noticed had went through all their feed, leaving nothing for the animals at the end.

Cash only for starters they take credit but it severely held up the line we didn’t know ahead of time. Also we know going in it was enter at your own risk with your own car but the animals antlers scratched an entire side of my husbands truck and chewed a running board where the pellets fell.

Awful! I don't know if this is because of COVID or it it's usually like this on a weekend but here's how my "amazing" animal safari went! We pulled into the entrance and saw a lot of cars. A man in a cowboy hat came up to our window. He was not wearing a mask, which was a red flag, he handed us a sheet of paper and told us where to pull our car. There were several rows of cars separated by posts and it looked like a parking lot but we quickly realized it was the line to get to the line to get in. The people in front of us left their car and we noticed several other cars with nobody in them. Lots of people not wearing masks. Finally my wife found out how long our wait would be - 2 and a half hours in our row! She went up to ask someone if there was any way we could pull out of the line and NOBODY WAS THERE. So we moved the posts ourselves and left. We are usually very patient and wouldn't do something like this but it was ridiculous. Maybe they should be up front about how long the wait is? Or mention it on their website? Or have a clear path to an exit instead of basically trapping people there? Maybe it's better on a weekday or when there isn't a pandemic going on but they really need to step up their communication.
