Four adults and a 2 year old had a wonderful day here! The grounds and the lodge are beautiful and all very clean. The animals look well cared for and are plentiful. We took the safari bus ride and our guide was very friendly and informative. Lots of close up experience seeing and feeding all of the animals and plenty of time at each stop. The small animal experience was also fun as we interacted with lively goats and other small animals. There was a snack bar area with ice cream. I highly recommend this activity especially for families with children.

    So much fun!
We had so much fun! We did the Safari Bus tour and Frank was so knowledgeable. We took a ton of photos and videos. My son loves it he’s 7 and we have gone the last 3 years in a row. It’s definitely a great place to visit and the landscape is beautiful as well as the inside area which I saw but never had a venue to go to inside.

    Enjoyable afternoon!
This was our second visit to the park. The reservations for the bus tour were very easy to make on their website. We were lucky enough to get Jerry as our tour guide. Of all the animal parks we have visited over the years, he was by far the most knowledgeable. He took his time and answered all our questions.

We took our grandkids 2 & 6 and had the best time! We did the self drive thru twice, as well as the Small Animal Adventure. It says 2-3 hr. duration. I'd recommend 5 or so. we'll definitely return.

    Unexpected surprise!
We accidentally stumbled upon this gem as we were driving from Niagra Falls to the lower finger lakes area. We were searching for a restaurant and they did have food here. While waiting for my food, I learned more about the business. I was very interested in the drive-through safari experience. We had done this at Six Flags in NJ so were familiar with the concept. The animals were friendly and hungry, and did not disappoint! What made the experience so great was that there were not hundreds of cars there trying to hurry us through. We could take all the time we wanted to enjoy the experience. My husband and teenage sons had a great time despite their initial resistance. I would even go as far to say this was the best time we had all week!

    Fun and eduactional day!
We took 4 of our Grandchildren for a fun and educational day on an adventure. So many wild animals to see and experience close up. The kids really enjoyed feeding them from a cup. After the bus tour we walked through an area full of little goats to pet and feed. There were also pens with ponies and alpacas to interact with. It was a great and fun day!

    Dun for all ages
My family and I had so much fun. My boys are ages 18 to 9 and everyone was happy!!!! You are able to drive through as many times as you like, but once was such a great experience we didn’t need to . The small animal section where you can feed the animals was too fun, those little goats have big personalities. I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a fun , affordable day with their family! We will be returning!

    Great day with the animals
Hidden Valley Animal Adventure was a great little day adventure for my 5 year old grandaughter and myself. Our driver, Joe, was friendly and knowledgeable. It was really fun to see the animals up so close. My grandaughter was a little hesitant at first, but after she fed one animal it was all fun! The goats in the petting zoo portion were a little aggressive, so just be ready for them to come up fast and close. The cafe, creamery, and gift shop were all very nice, too.

    Best family place ever!
This is the best place ever to take kids, friends, or just couples! Experience wildlife up close and personal. It's so fun to feed the animals and your tour guide stops long enough to allow feeding and great pictures. The cafe is clean and offers a variety of choices. And don't forget to visit the small animal farm there, too. VERY reasonably priced for all you get. The scenery is beautiful!!!

    Amazing family destination!
What an amazing way to spend a day! We had 6 kids ages 4-10 and 4 adults. Everyone enjoyed the experience. We did the safari ride, small animal adventure, had lunch at the restaurant and took some meat home for dinner! The kids absolutely adored the goats in the small animal adventure and it’s amazing how close you get with the animals on the safari. We will absolutely do this again.

I’m not sure what a normal wait is when cars aren’t driving thru the park, but we arrived on a Sunday around 2:30 and our wait was about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Staff was wearing masks, not all customers but I don’t really care about that, there’s plenty of room to keep your distance. $33 for 2 adults and a 2 year old with a large bucket of pellets. Animals are average - nothing out of this world. The “small animal” petting zoo isn’t really worth $5 a person. It used to be included and it definitely should still be.
It’s ok if you want something to do, but I’d be hesitant if you have a larger family . A family of 6 would be approx $78 and I don’t see the value in that.
If you do go and if you buy pellets, save some until you get through the turn by the water as you’ll still pass by more bison, zebras, longhorns etc and most vehicles I noticed had went through all their feed, leaving nothing for the animals at the end.

Enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. We did the guided tour and worth the extra money over the self-guided tour. If you want to save a few bucks, you can probably pass on the petting zoo and it was not a major value add. Clean premises with easy access and great staffing.

We had a great time at the Animal Adventure. It was so much fun to interact with the animals and have them visit us right at the car. We went in the later afternoon on a Thursday but had no wait to get in and still found the animals to be inquisitive and hungry. I was a little nervous when huge bison surrounded my somewhat new car with their big horns, but we managed to make it out without a scratch (or dent). My kids, 16 and 13, really enjoyed it, too. They have a small animal petting zoo but we didn’t bother with that on our trip. I’m sure that’s a great time, too. This is off the beaten path but well worth the trip!!!

Our grandkids feeding the animals was the best part. The price is right and I recommend that you tour on a shuttle. The guide will provide information about the animals and stops in areas of the compound so you can feed. The types of animals are limited (no lions, giraffes, etc.) due to the climate but it still is very enjoyable.

Really fun Mother’s Day for our all age family group. We arrived at our reserved time and had no wait. The animals seemed healthy and friendly. We drove our cars and did get a dent from one large Bison. The petting zoo was very entertaining, good variety of critters. The grounds are clean and attractive. Ended our stay with lunch at the trail side restaurant, quick and satisfying for adults and kids. What a nice day!

We were 2 women and 2 elementary school girls. We had a riot feeding the animals. They came right up to the car, sticking their heads in for food, eating right out of our hands with their huge tongues. Buckets of food are reasonably priced. So fun! And a bit scary at first until we got used to it. We went through twice. Had lunch at the cafe - hot dogs & fries and one order of chicken fingers. They do need more options for kids, maybe grilled cheese and burgers. Capped off with Perry’s delicious ice cream. Then walked to the petting zoo to interact with goats, donkeys and Shetland ponies. The girls loved picking up the baby goats…don’t know how much the goats enjoyed it. The only complaint we had is that we didn’t know what several of the animals were. Would suggest they have a brochure with pictures for the kids (and the adults) to identify the animals. Could make it a game for the kids. Or if they don’t want the expense of the brochure, maybe a laminated sheet that can be turned in at the end. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. There’s a pond with swans and koi fish. Very pretty. Highly recommend. 5 out of 5 stars.

2nd time there and wonderful but there was a down fall. We choose the bus ride for the experience! Unfortunately it was ruined by the drive thru on your own with your own car. We had to sit and wait several times for 20min at a time. If you are going to offer this system you need a better way to exceute it. Maybe have that option only during the week and bus safari only on weekends as that is when you are busiest...kinda tiok away the fun experience:(

Also, the downstairs bathrooms werent working we we did not know that as there we no signs!!! The one lady working was beyond rude to us! Not a great way to be welcomed back and start the tour!!!!

It was a fun and educational day for everyone involved from grandkid, parents and grandparents. Our guide Dan, is funny but full of interesting facts about the animals and their habitats. He addresses his comments to everyone on the bus. The animals were cooperative and hungry. The camels are hysterical. Fun was had by all eleven of us. The Petting Zoo is great for the younger grandkids.
The cafeteria and restrooms are spotless and well maintained. It is a gem for inexpensive fun!! Thank you Hidden Valley for all the fun we had.

Our First time at this Adventure with our grandson of 5 yrs. Old. We signed up for the bus and guided tour of the park area to see. It was 1 hour of pure excitement for my grandson as they had plenty of animals to stop and see in 3 different parts of the park. Animals would come up to the bus where the kids and adults could feed the animals. 60 bisons on site! Amazing to see close up, along with other type of grazing deer, laama and antelope type animals. After the tour, 1 hour of seeing small animals on grounds! We saw a lot in a 2 hr period. The bus tour stopped for 10-15 minutes to see all the animals. We definitely will go back again, as my grandson loved this place. Also, a great facility indoors to order a variety of good foods at reasonable pricing! Excellent employees who were attentive to answering any of our questions and very pleasant and patient with the kids!
