Niawanda park is a great place to find recreation of all sorts. There a bike path that extends to the Universty north campus or Downtown Buffalo. There are picnic benches, nearby fast food restaurants and sometimes entertainment at the bandshell. Check it out

Hi all! If you're just there walking, sitting, visiting, anything at all. You'll be pleased. I went walking there recently with my dog, and we acquired several painted rocks. If you're following the rock movement you'd understand. Anyways, Niawanda, is a nice park to visit.

Nice place for a leisurely stroll or a run. You can watch the boats in the river and see other people. Great place to bring a chair and read a book.

This park has a great bike/walking path that takes you along the water allowing you great views of the boats on the water, and homes on the other side. Well maintained. Near local restaurants spots. Pet friendly. Launching spots for boats and jet ski.

I don't have a dog so I didn't pay close attention...but a leashed dog is allowed during some hours.

After May 31st does are supposed to be restricted to before 9am but I've seen them all times of the day this past summer. I don't know if they chaged the rules. You can always call the cirt of Tonawanda to inquire.
