Fun place but bad business practices
Dec 2019 • Family
I took my 4 year old son here as he was starting to get stir crazy in the house and this place offers great options for play. Yes the admission price is expensive but when you have a young child that needs to expend some energy it is worth it. The $20 admission fee and @$4 entrance fee for each adult is where I start to question things. Then let’s add all the new bad business practices that have been recently put into place. First off, the lockers used to
be reasonable and now they are ridiculous and are definitely running a scam. Without warning the advertised small locker price jumps for $3 an hour ($1 for each additional hour) to $7 as soon as you select the cash option. Then without any forewarning when I went to open my locker, there is an alert that an extra $1 will be charged every time you open your locker if you pay with card.
At the end of our visit I sat down in one of the massage chairs and was looking for cash and couldn’t figure out what the extremely loud wailing sound was until someone pointed out behind me the displayed signs. Really? Could you not wait and give me a minute to get my money out or how about choose a less jarring alarm, one that doesn’t sound like a person is stuck under a forklift perhaps and seriously what is up with those rude signs? Could you not have some more tact?
Lastly, the employee told me that starting next month every person will be required to pay $3.11 for a pair of billy beez socks at check in because apparently they feel they are not making enough of a profit. I am sorry I understand GOT AIR sticky socks for their trampolines but there is no reason to charge everyone an additional $3.11 for billy beez socks. Think about large family’s. That is going to add up really fast.
I was planning on having my sons birthday party here in a February but now with all of these extra money grabs and shady and or rude business practices I will take my money elsewhere.

I didn't want to leave!
Aug 2019
We were here at the end of August 2019. It was raining and I needed to take the kids somewhere to burn off some energy as we were visiting family in a very small house. This place was amazing! It was like an adult sized McDonald's play place. My 3 1/2 year old was a little timid at first, not really understanding what she could go and do. My 8 month old loved the area with all the foam balls. He was very excited about the middle fan that shot the balls up into the air. I went up in the tunnels and down the slides with my daughter and, honestly, I didn't want to leave! Very easy to spend several hours. I think we were there between 3-4.

Fantastic option on a rainy day!
Sep 2019 • Family
We were visiting from out of town and after a couple days at the fair and seeing rain clouds move in, we brought our four year old to check this place out.

We weren't disappointed! Before we knew it, three hours came and went. From the massive area with different ways to climb up to elevated paths and tunnels to the slides to the ball shooting area, slide wall and basketball court for smaller ones (5 and under), Billy Beez was an awesome stop inside the mall.

Bonus (though we didn't make use of it), it is amazing that they give you coming and going privileges. So many other places basically lock you in, and when you're out, that's it. Here, you can play then go back into the mall before playing some more.

We will be back next time we are in town!

Good fun and exercise for young kids
Jan 2019 • Family
We took our four year old grandson here and he loved it. At first, he was a little hesitant to climb up into the network of interconnected tubes and passages, so I went in with him to reassure him. Once he realized that everything was enclosed in mesh and you can't fall out anywhere, he got braver. Pretty soon he was scooting around exploring and investigating and having a great time and didn't need me. While adults like me can accompany kids through the elevated areas, be aware that some are a bit narrow, some require crawling on hands and knees, and generally if you are in questionable physical shape or a large size person, going up might not be for you. Anyone in average good health should be okay. If you stay on the ground, you'll still be able to see your kids just about everywhere they go, so this is not a problem.

In addition to the elevated tubes and passages, there are activities on ground level such as a basketball area for kids, a place to shoot soft foam balls at targets (we had to ask the staff to turn it on for us), and an area with a fountain that will spew the soft balls into the air as you feed them in. This was fun even for us adults. The only downside is that there's a second level with air guns that can be used to shoot the balls at people and things on the lower level (very safe and harmless fun) but the guns are mounted too high for small children to aim and shoot. Still, lots of fun.

There are slides of varying types for kids of varying degrees of courage, and areas for very small children as well. There's a trampoline that can be used by a few children at a time, and our grandson loved it.

There are lockers if you need to secure something while you are in the play area. Much of the play area is for stocking feet only, so you'll likely need to remove your shoes; be sure that you and your kids wear good socks for the visit.

There's a snack bar but it was not in operation when we were there (mid-day on a weekday, an off peak time). I don't know whether it is fully operational at other times or what they might have to offer. Since this is in a mall with lots of food choices, and since you can leave and return free the same day, the limited food choices in Billy Beez is not a concern.

In addition to the previously mentioned height issue with the air guns, the other minor concern I had was that a few of the areas were in the shadows. This was not serious and not a safety risk, but a little more light would have been helpful in spots.

While we were there, a staff member was working steadily to ensure that the place was clean (and it was), to make minor repairs, and to restock the soft foam balls in the fountain area. I can't say that I agree with the reviewer who had complaints about physical condition and maintenance; it seemed pretty good to me.

The place is a lot bigger than it seems from the entrance, and if we had the time, our four year old grandson would have stayed much longer than the two hours we were there. Overall, we had a good time and will likely return again. Kids up to about 8-10 years old will enjoy it here, but older ones, unless here with younger ones, might think it below their level.

1 year old LOVED it!
Oct 2018 • Family
I took my one year old niece here yesterday, October 19th. I had walked past it a thousand times and wanted to see what it was about. For 2 adults and my niece it was only 19 dollars and some change. They give you wristbands that are checked on the way out so you can't leave without your child/with the wrong child. It's a big area. I wasn't sure if my niece would be able to have fun given that she still mostly crawls. She'll stand up on things but I knew she wouldnt be running around the place like the rest of the kids. They have a special area for toddlers with a smaller slide and other activities. She enjoyed it but kept trying to escape lol. I ended up taking her to the normal area, which is filled with slides and aerial walks. She was able to crawl around as it wasn't too busy. She really enjoyed that. The staff was friendly and it seemed very clean and safe. I'm glad I've found a place I can take her now and when she's older.

So glad we didn't listen to reviews!!
Aug 2018 • Family
I had read a lot of negative reviews, so was hesitant to bring my 15 month old son. So glad I didn't listen!! We had a blast from the beginning!! Everything was clean and working fine. Took a minute to figure out how to work some things, but they were not broken. The check in staff was very sweet and even asked if she could lift my son's leg to put the bracelet on him before she did!! There were so many slides and climbing structures!! My son loved the Toddler Area, Foam Ball Room, and loved going on slides!! My husband and I loved that we could get on anything!! We almost had more fun than he did!! Can't speak to the food because we left to eat. For the ability to come and go all day, the price is worth it!! Would definitely make the hour trip again!!

This place is huge!
Jun 2018 • Family
We went here on a recent Friday evening after dinner in the Mall. The $16 price tag per kid plus additional admission for each parent was a little shocking at first but that price includes the whole day to play. Everyone must wear socks. The 1st adult admission is cheaper then the 2nd... maybe to discourage lots of adults from hanging around the play area? My daughter had a blast and with all the tunnels, slides etc. The play space is huge and it would be perfect for any kid. We spent only 2 hours but my daughter could have easily spent 4+ hours. I saw the staff constantly cleaning the play areas with disinfecting spray which is a great thing. Here is a tip: If your child is an only child bring a friend for them so you are not crawling through the tunnels with them for hours! Also adults are not allowed on any of the slides so you have to crawl back down the way you crawled up when your child goes down a slide.

Going downhill fast!
Feb 2018 • Family
On 2/15/18, my 2 children and I visited your location. We visit at least 2-3 times a year. However, on this last visit, I encountered many things that are of great concern to me as a parent and an adult.

Mostly things that I identified would be considered serious safety hazards for small children. Areas that have no foam against a metal pole, rips in the cushions for people to get stuck on.

Some of the things such as broken equipment like an air gun that shoot balls, did not work. It was taped with duct tape and not even connected or running for that matter.

At one point, my sons foot became stuck on a metal nail. Lucky for him, it only ripped his sock and did not puncture his skin. My daughter was climbing on one foam block and actual became stuck in the rip. Had I not been directly behind her, who knows what the outcome could have been. I have included pictures of the issues that I outlined and feel these are very important and should be resolved as soon as possible.

condescending staff, bad policies
Jul 2017 • Family
I had to pay $17 for my 14 year old daughter to sit on a chair while my 8 year old played. The staff is very inflexible and condescending. Perhaps a better policy would be to have separate wristbands for people who do not want to use the facilites for a nominal fee. If we had been allowed to do that I would have bought snacks and drinks for everyone. Instead I refused to buy anything else. Bad policies almost always lead to bankruptcy.
