It was a great day! The staff was very helpful and my students enjoyed themselves. The new elephant pool is awesome!

This is not a large zoo. My family and I got around here in ~90 minutes. Yes, it was a hot day, but it is not a huge zoo, like the one in Toronto. Nice layout, though, and a great way to spend a few hours.

With most of the area rather depressed, this zoo is beautiful. The majority of he enclosures offer native style habitats. Military and veterans are free with two guests per ID. Plan to spend two hours easily. It's better if you try to visit with at least 3-5 hours. This summer has been a scorcher, but you would never know walking... More

Toddler and husband loved it, but I found it depressing. The snow leopard needs cold climate and it was 90 degrees out. He can jump 45 feed and he was in a 12 foot habitat. The primates are social and live in troupes, many were solitary. One primate group needs to run and they were in small habitats. The birds... More

We had a great time. We were told to plan about 3 hours and we spent five! Lots of animals both inside and out. Can't wait to bring my Grandchildren. Not bad admission price either.

We spent the day here for an employee picnic. It was a beautiful day. The staff treated us very well in the room we had for our lunch. Outside the room would be beautiful for a wedding. The food was good--typical picnic food of hot dogs hamburgers beans corn on the cob. The zoo itself wasn't crowded which made it... More

The whole family had a great visit at the Rosamond Zoo in Syracuse. Loved seeing all the animals. We got to see the penguins being fed which was awesome. Wish we could have seen the elephants more. We will be back!

I often take the kids to Rosamond Gifford Zoo while the wife and others shop in Syracuse. Its a great value and good way to keep the keeps occupied rather than towing them along with us through the shopping centers. Its a decent-size and has a good variety of animals to see, including tigers and elephants. We typically take about... More

The zoo is a bit small but many unique animals that all of the other zoos around don't offer. The admission price was very reasonable. We will absolutely be back!
