Not worth the hype. Half the mall is stuck in the early 80’s for decor (lot of empty stores )the other half is modern with activities for the family. Apparently Destiny USA has no plumber on staff as most of the
Women’s toilets were plugged up (some even had wrap over the feces plug toilets to stop more people from further plugging them up). Parking is terrible as no one knows how to park in Syracuse and it also takes awhile to find a spot . Also heating and ac were terrible as some parts were okay for temp other areas were freezing. Seriously don’t make this a destination stop as it’s not worth it . Any store here you can find elsewhere, or better .

When I was young, Carousel mall (the predecessor of Destiny) was a fun place to go. It was still a large mall, it was clean, and it was safe. Today, the expanded Destiny USA is a sad fossil of what once was a staple in Syracuse. First of all, its sheer square footage makes it impossible to navigate or to get through in a day if you have some shopping to do. Your feet will be hurting after visiting three stores because of how far apart they are from each other. Second, safety is an obvious issue. A place this expansive is too big to employ enough people to keep it safe. I only went on this trip because I had something specific to get, but I always avoid the mall now as a general rule for this reason. Third, stores are leaving. Many popular stores for young women are left out altogether (like Madewell and Anthropologie). The store selection overall is uninteresting and unhelpful. There is also not a single cute cafe to visit for lunch - the closest thing is Panera. Instead of modernizing, making the mall aesthetically pleasing, making it lighter with more natural light, and adding modern stores, the expansion has worsened the mall in almost every way. It is a dark, dingy, dirty, unsafe excuse for a shopping center. When I want to shop, I literally drive an hour and a half to Eastview Mall in Victor (near Rochester). It is a lovely, nicely sized, bright, safe mall with great stores as well as a nice cafe and restaurants.

Nice Mall but failing with this pandemic. They have fully prepared and put up excellent precautions to protect everyone. However no one regulates them and security says nothing when mutiple groups walk around without a mask or failing to wear it properly. I'm very discouraged to return.

we were able to get there with only 40mins. left until it was closed so we just walked the 2 main floor and the basement with 5 shops and we were able to do it all in that time frame. We were not able to go into any of the store because of the lack of time ( which all the stores did close right at 7!!!) BUt with that said we have 2 malls near us and this mall has everything our two mall have the only stores we don;t have that this place has is a 'hot tub, it's sugar, & armaini Stores'. So nothing as a huge draw there other than the gaming upstairs.

I am rating it Average at three stars although it is the second largest Mall in the United States. The food is quite terrible at the food courts. They should really do better. Other than that, there are a wide variety of stores to shop at and this is quite the destination to come to if you're searching for a thrill or to see a beautiful mall with lots to offer!

I always have a hoot when I visit this mall. There is so much to do....shopping in all the stores, including the outlet stores. There are a ton of great restaurants there, and also lots of activities as well. It is so good that our teenage daughter wants to do her birthday there with friends. I give this mall my highest possible recommendation.

What a place!!! This place is amazing. My family and I had a blast. We originally went to Wonderworks but then found out that they have restaurants, stores and more fun to be had. We spent about five hours and didn’t make it to the other side of the mall. Definitely returning.

The mall is underwhelming and overhyped. Most stores close by 7pm which is very early. It is a bit confusing to navigate, signage is somehow unclear and noneof the electronic directories worked. I would not return nor recommend going out of your way to visit the mall. As well it the walkway that is supposed to take you to the hotel next door, takes you to a part of the parking lot and you still have to walk outdoors

So much to do, and not crowded at all. We spent half a day here and probably only saw 15% of it. Felt safe and modern. Had a fun time doing escape room with the teens. Endless activities to do at this place.

This is a huge mall with a wide variety of stores. We spent all day here and I don't think we even got to see the whole place. Plus there is other things to do like the movies, arcade etc. Several restaurants and a food court to choose from also.

Wonderworks is a lot of fun. There's also a glow in the dark miniature golf course that's good for older children.
You have to pay to get in? What!?!

It's free to enter and free to park. You might be referring to the valet parking which costs money. Only a couple stores in the mall charge admission if there's an event or activity involved.

Is this a new mall? When was it opened? How is it compared to the Premium Outlets?

Hello!!! The mall is not new it has been around for a while, however it will seem very new to you because it has so many different stores that makes it complete. In the mall you can also find the outlets stores, gap, old navy, coach, Michael k, and many different ones.
The people in the stores are very friendly and helpful. What makes this mall different for me is because you're always in side, in case it rains, snow, or even if it's too hot outside, the temperature inside is perfect. you cannot go wrong in this mall.
After you're finish with shopping you can go to a nice elegant restaurant or just a regular restaurant like the Cheesecake Factory, and when all is said and done you can go relax and watch a movie.
I hope this will help you out.
Have a good day.
