I decided to treat my wife and my mother to a spa service here. Expecting new place to be better than the old ... Unfortunately for this spa - it was not for the good. My wife and mother complained about not able to enjoy the massage due to noise, changing room is open ( similar 2 gym ) not something my wife and mother liked !!!
Wasted of time and money ... Look elsewhere !!!

I have been coming to Pure Spa since the opening. I was treated by many and still is. Rose has been my regular staff who does my facial and my body scrub. Although I have no time to go in as much as I wanted to, I am happy to say that this place has been the SPA I would like to invite people to go to if you live in the neighborhood. I would never forget the SPA because Regina the owner and staff have always been wonderful to me and my friends. Look for Rose for facial or body treatments, Betty for mani & pedi. They did my make-up, body, manicure/pedicure, facial and hair for my wedding. I looked very young and beautiful that day, so I give them credit for this *:) Enjoy yourself at the SPA, the most relaxation place you could imagine.

What a disappointment! Eva took me right away which was good because I don’t have to wait but what is so disappointing is she did it like in a rush. She finished in less than 5 mins. When I went back to my car to check her job there are still few hairs in both of my legs and worst of all both my legs are still sticky from the wax. I can’t check her job right after she finished because it is a little dim in there.

A wonderful full-service spa and salon. The best mani-pedi I have ever gotten. Friendly, attentive staff; beautiful, clean and soothing atmosphere.

I visited Pure Spa & Salon for the first time in April and took advantage of their Queen For A Day pakage.
I chose to have the facial with the lip treatment upgrade and afterwards i had a spa mani and pedi.
The whole experience was truly amazing. My therapist really paid attention to what my skin needed and made sure to do a full consultation first.
I would highly recommend a visit to this little treasure in the heart of Sunnyside. Five stars from me :)

I have been going to Pure Spa since it opened about ten years ago. When I need a vacation but can't leave town, I go to Pure Spa. My friends have literally stopped me and said "Gosh, your skin looks so good," after their Classic Facials -- and more than once or twice. The atmosphere is soothing, unlike any other place I've had a facial in NYC: so gentle and relaxing, you feel as if you're not in New York City anymore. Darkened hallways with candles line your way, soft tones of the harp, recorder or electronic "misty" spa music play...and the delicious smells of the wonderful products are to die for. It is incredibly difficult to leave after a treatment... you just want to lie there forever in the large treatment room (larger than a lot of bedrooms in New York!) and sail away into your most wonderful dreams. The owner, Regina, is frequently there and comes to know her customers by name. What more could you ask for?
The treatments are worth every penny. I have had Classic Facials (includes extractions), moisturizing facials, hot stone and regular massages, hot oil massage treatments for head and hair... All are a great escape and restore you to sanity.
For a $100 facial I usually tip $20, and sometimes more. I don't even bother with Manhattan for facials or massages any more. Pure Spa is better. (I never thought I would say that, but it's true.)
Pure Spa is a quick trip on the #7 train into Queens. You disembark at 40th Street, come down the stairs, and it's literally right across the street. I will envy you...wish I could go every week!
