A fun place with unusual gifts, Staten Island souvenirs, and quirky items besides comic books. A friendly face in the neighborhood, shop owner Joy runs the show. Check it out the next time you're in St. George, a short walk from the ferry.

Amazing customer service. Vast selection of ALL things geekified and nerdilciously wonderful. Old. New. Vintage. If you want to feel like a Time Lord, or a Star Lord, they have you covered. If you want to release your inner Gotham Girl, Harley Quinn is sure to delight. GoT? SoA? WD? Brony? Minecraft? From comics to steampunk to Stay Puft and so much more, this is the one-stop shopping this Island can't live without.

And I don't expect them to be unknown for long. For a small store it's packed to the gills with the latest in comic, horror and sci-fi merchandise with an equal amount of vintage items. A perfect blend for any collector. The owners are also great to deal with. Just a really cool shop

Took ferry to Statten saw comic store son wanted to see. Couldn't leave it was great loved talking to owners who are so passionate about their store. A gem to see we were not expecting.... we left with purchases of comic books...Nostromo hat....etc definitely recommend

We had a wonderful experience in our visit to Staten Island, bought some Aliens action figures and finger zombies and talked with the owners who are great guys. Greetings for them if were reading this commentary from Buenos Aires, Argentina

Hypno-Tronic comics, a quick walk from the Staten Island Ferry, is brimming with comics and pop culture memorabilia. There's usually some b-movie or another playing on one of the place's televisions, and the back shelves are full of statuettes of aliens, superheroes, and other assorted oddities. Sure, the place has comics - all kinds and in great quantities - but they've also got posters, dvds, magazines, vintage toys, and great books. Every time I go I end up buying way more than I intended to. The people are friendly (employees and customers alike) and the atmosphere is great. Strongly recommended.

I love comics, so as my friend and I walked through Staten Island for the first time we stumbled upon this comic store. It's a little small, but it has comics, action figures, clothes, and other goodies galore. The prices were fairly decent and I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of comics they had in stock.

For the last few days we have visitef several comic and pop-culture stores in New York, however, this one would be the biggest surprise and probably the best of them all. It is not so big, but there are so many beutiful things, some really old and vintage stuff and great Star Trek comic books and Star Trek merch 🖖great place to spend your money on geeky toys and books. You will love this place, it is just great!
