Gina greeted us with a huge smile. She was the only one working the Tasting room and cashier. We did a tasting, and there was cork in my Gatsby. She immediately fixed the situation and then some. An excellent representation of the winery. Beautiful grounds.
Cheeses, both cow and sheep, goat, available. Meats, with Gluten free options available. You may bring your own food too.

Bar staff is un-attentive. They don't seem thrilled to be doing their job. Patio was a mess -maybe they were short staffed. Wine is nothing to chirp about. Osprey is where it's at!

My friend and I had a really nice visit to Duck Walk. George, our wine consultant, was very friendly and helped us pick out some great choices for our tasting. I love the Gatsby Red!! Grounds were pretty and we had a nice relaxing afternoon.

My husband and I recently visited the lovely Duck Walk Vinyard in Southhold. It was a Beautiful spring Sunday still quiet on the East end.of LI. We enjoyed a leisurely tasting and enjoyed a bottle of Rose while snacking on cheese and crackers. The sun was shining warmly on the Vineyards. My husband is a Red white drinker and I love my whites but we both enjoyed the tasting and fell in love with the Rose. This was our first visit but I'm sure we will be back.

Very nice Chardonnay for the price.
The less expensive Chardonnay was better at 16 or so a bottle.
We didn't try many other wines-their Sauvignon Blanc was just OK-may not be the best grape to grow on Long Island.

Stopped by here on a whim and found the wines to be pretty good. The grounds were ok too but the tasting room needs some help.

It's not that it is dirty or anything because it's not. The issue is the way it is set up. It's in a very large building with the wine area in the middle. The wine bar gets lost in the big space. I suppose they have it that way if they are having a large event or something but the empty space all around you otherwise is not welcoming

The person pouring the wine seemed to know very little about wine and was mostly going off a memorized script with a few bad jokes thrown in. Kind of like a bad tour guide who knows only a bit more than what they have been told. I don't expect a sommelier or anything but at least know what you are doing

Four tastings for six dollars seems steep since that is about what some of the far better known wineries are charging in Sonoma, glen Ellen and Napa. Go to some of the lessor known places and it's free.

All in all wine was good so I can't complain too much it's just disappointing to see wine tasting done poorly.

We were amazed at the amount of wine that they poured during the tastings. Probably because the wines were some of the worst we have tried on the North Fork. These wines are simply off my list of those that I would purchase.

This was the first stop of our wine tour. I didn't car for the bar feel we got when we walked in felt like I was in college to get our tastings. The outside property was beautiful though! The grounds were great to walk on and take photos.

Healthy pours of tastings. Knowledgable and personable staff. Close to Orient Point Ferry for New Englanders.

Really trying to gather my thoughts for this review.
As I do not imbibe in alcohol it’s rather easy to recall events of my cousin’s wedding tlast weekend at Duckwalk Vineyards.
I will also add that I’ve managed the best nightclubs and restaurants in NYC and Chicago in the last 20 years so I know what to look for in catering spaces.
Upon arrival, we were a bit early and obviously the vineyards have tastings. There wasn’t any space or attendant escorting us to an area away from the mayhem: drunks were literally sick and being carried out by their friends as women screamed and ran around like maniacs. I could not believe what was happening before our eyes, our family’s youths’ eyes, and in general.
The bathrooms were atrocious and disgusting; I had to remind an attendant that a wedding was about to begin in 20 minutes and perhaps they should have someone straighten the bathroom.
The wedding itself was a lovely ceremony but perhaps the chairs could use some cleaning?
Cocktail hour was probably the best part of the evening and the only reason I have given this venue two stars. Great canapés.
We had a nice bartender for the family that does imbibe in alcohol; unfortunately one of the vineyard’s red wine bottles was left opened on the bar and smashed to the floor besides us. Perhaps leaving opened bottles of wine atop the bar isn’t the best idea during a wedding?
It’s a lovey place for a wedding but coordinating the tastings for days other than 20 minutes prior to a wedding where people are spending tens of thousands of dollars should seriously be considered.
