The Hamptons and Long Island Wineries Private Tour

2 reviews
Leave the bustle of Manhattan behind, and visit one of New York's most exclusive retreats, on this private tour of the Hamptons. Head out on Long Island in a comfortable minivan from your accommodation. Visit pretty Southampton, enjoy fresh seafood in Sag Harbor (lunch own expense), take a ferry to Shelter Island, and explore the wineries of the North Fork of Long Island (tastings own expense).

WOW! This is one of the prettiest beaches I have ever been to. I never would have found it if our innkeeper did not drive us there, as it is very remote. The snack bar was closed but the bathroom facilities were open and clean. It was late September so it was very empty, but I get the impression it is always very clean and well kept. Highly recommend!!

Cooper's Beach is a gem! The water is very clean and the sand very soft and clean. Umbrellas and beach chairs can be rented and set up and taken back.

It is a beautiful, clean beach. However, they are not offering $50 day parking passes for nonresidents on the weekends right now. They offer them on weekdays and there is also a sign which says they are only allowing 50% parking lot capacity. Another option is free parking on road D 2 miles down but the street is really small and parking fills up quickly and there are no facilities on that side. Another option which might save you money is parking your car about a mile away at a street parking spot and walking/uber or lyft. Showers are currently out of service too. I would say worth it to avoid crowds are other beaches but not sure it's worth the hassle at the same time.
