A large and beautiful beach. It was mid week very early in the season so the beach was very quiet with only a small number of people. We decided to go for a swim in the very cold but very refreshing water. It was incredible!

Consistently rated as one of the best beaches in the US. We visited before the crowds came and it was quite foggy, but the sand was soft and so easy to walk on. It's quiet and secluded - and the day parking passes are quite expensive.

This is Southampton best beach, Cooper's Beach. The Beach is just breathtaking. One of the nicest in the Hamptons. Grab a cab and save on the parking fee.

One of the favorite beaches of the town. There's a cafe with food and drink options. Beach tags are controlled seriously

Nothing but the highest marks for this beach as it ticked all the boxes. Clean, white sand - check. Bathroom facilities and food/drink options - check. The ability to rent beach chairs and umbrellas - check and check. Clean water, sandy bottom, no seaweed and a great beach break allowing for great bodysurfing - checks all around. Plus, there's plenty of beach to go around so you didn't feel hemmed in. Yes, you'll pay a hefty fee to park (~$50/car (get there early)) but it's worth it and money well spent.

The beach is huge and really nice. It would be a great place to go and hang out all day. The water looked a little rough. The beach dips down a decent amount which was kind of scary. The tide was going out. I think I was there around 5pm so parking was free. Given how big that beach is probably not a ton of parking for it. You can walk a long ways each way and see nice houses as well. The building was closed so nothing open that late.

Had three nights here and would highly recommend it as a quiet enough spot but still with lots of activities to do near by if need be.

WOW! This is one of the prettiest beaches I have ever been to. I never would have found it if our innkeeper did not drive us there, as it is very remote. The snack bar was closed but the bathroom facilities were open and clean. It was late September so it was very empty, but I get the impression it is always very clean and well kept. Highly recommend!!

Cooper's Beach is a gem! The water is very clean and the sand very soft and clean. Umbrellas and beach chairs can be rented and set up and taken back.

is the 2020 village beach pass good through June 30, 2021?
Why can't you purchase the village beach pass at Coopers anymore?
Hello do you have to be a resident to go to cooper’s beach? Is cooper’s beach open on the weekends?
Is there a shuttle service from the village to cooper's beach?

Not sure about shuttle from town but we stayed at the Southampton Inn and they had a free shuttle to the beach.

Planning a trip to the beach in mid June on a Monday or Tuesday and wanted to know how early I should get the family to the beach for a good chance at parking. Also I’m from out of town. Do I just purchase the parking when I get to the parking lot or do I have to buy beach parking in advance? Is there free parking available at this beach?

As I think I wrote, outsiders are not supposed to be there. We were told to get to the Dune's church in early morning to possibly find a spot, but I cannot guarantee you success in this approach and the rules may have even changed since we were there.
We had resolved that before we came out again, that we would call the Town Hall and ask for a day or week's pass, and pay whatever it takes for permission and then not worry about potential fines. We did see signage at an adjoining town beach, that directed visitors to do just that.
I would rather that you not get a ticket and have your vacation ruined, especially if it is in the summer. We were there much later in the season, and took a calculated risk that worked out. There was no charge at that parking lot.... and it was not crowded.
