It is a small town charm, with restaurants overlooking the bay, a beautiful beach with many playgrounds in the sand. There is another small beach on the bay especially for children.
Highly recommended to go if you live in or around Rochester.

Really loved the beach and watched a beautiful sunset. The lighthouse is very cool. Only negative (which is just nature) was the dead fishy smell at the beach end of the pier but there had just been a recent storm. Very cool though!!
