This review is for "Nightmares", the farms late night haunted attraction during the month of October. I love LRF and have been going to the Nightmares attraction since 2010. I was hesitant to write a review because over the years the popularity of the farm has grown and a big part of its charm is the space and solitude it provides compared to other similar attractions. Ultimately I decided to write a review because the owners deserve to know what a great job they are doing. I love haunted attractions and have been to many over the years and to me, haunted attractions are what you make of them. Go into them with a positive attitude, take your time, and let yourself be scared. What Nightmares has that is truly unique to other similar attractions, such as the more well known Headless Horseman, is space. You aren't stuck to a specific schedule, and you do not have to go right from one haunted attraction to the other. The production value is less but in ways I prefer that. I'd rather be alone in a corn maze running from a bloody man with a chainsaw, than smushed between groups stuck on a linear path through extremely well decorated rooms. The farm also has slides, swings, giant chess boards, an inflatable bouncy floor, and more, which you can use to break up your time and feel like you've really gotten the most out of the experience. If you can make it to the farm on on their opening weekend you can avoid waiting in lines almost altogether. But even on crowded weekends the price is more affordable and the lines are better than places like the Headless Horseman. I love this place and while change is inevitable I do hope the magic that can only exist at the start of something great, lingers there a while longer.

When I went to this many years ago with my classroom, I remembered having a good time. I went back just last Friday with my own children (ages 7-13) and was surprised how much bigger it has become. Lots of things to do with one price! I was super impressed with the little "tree houses" which my kids played on for a long time. Two other popular things were the corn maze and the underground slide. Everything (bathrooms included) was super clean. The people were friendly and very helpful. Thanks for a great time! PS We did go on a Friday so I thought the crowds were doable. Most of the kids there were from our homeschool group.

They were so helpful, flexible, and patient in planning my organization’s fundraiser dinner. Lovely grounds and event space (Gifford Barn).

My son got a job picking blueberries they told him he was doing a great job and he was a good hard an dedicated worker. Then the next day he gets an email saying he wasn’t picking enough blueberries to meet their standards. He went over the quota they gave him everyday. What kind of example is this for a 14 year old that the harder you work and as dedicated as you are you get fired for that 😡😡
