The exhibit was all sexual exploration. It was not interesting or enjoyable. Could have found a better use of my 20 minutes.

The Museum is a wonderful piece of architecture and walking inside the main entrance let me know that the interior would be the same. The main attraction, for me, was the new exhibit by Mel Ziegler and his 'Flag Exchange ' project. If you are ever in the area, make sure you go visit. The museum is free entrance, but... More

Saw this building for the first time at my 40th Skidmore reunion. The building is absolutely wonderful. Really enjoyed the art work.

The "Borrowed Light" photography exhibit was a history of the art and craft to photography from its earliest pioneers to its modern practitioners. With some little confusion, the guides offered information and explanations about genre, technique and a little science, too. The ALMA THOMAS exhibit was interesting, too; a notable female Afro-American modern artist! The staff were all knowledgeable and... More

Thanks for your review! We are working on more seating, in addition to the benches in the atrium, the lounge installation on the mezzanine and the chairs on the bridge, just before the Borrowed Light exhibition. More

I have been going to exhibits at the Tang for years and while some of the art may be a "bit over my head" it's always a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Borrowed Light photo exhibit that is there thru August 2016 is a must see. If you are lucky enough to live here or be in town when they are... More

Definitely make a stop at the Tang. There are family programs throughout the year in addition to some interesting and thought provoking installations. The docents are all very knowledgeable and can only enhance your visit if you have any questions. It is not a large museum but significant.

Stopped by the museum as a short detour on a family road trip. Great campus in a fun little town. My 14 year old loved all of the exhibits, 9 year old was engaged too. Spent about 45 minutes there, felt like plenty of time. Free museum, but donations welcomed. The elevator was a nice surprise too. Definitely worth a... More

The Tang Teaching Museum, is one of the Capital District's top Art Museum. This is a place that even your children will enjoy! They change their exhibits several times a year and they have a mixed subjects and media that will entertain and teach all who see them. Many of their exhibitions have opening ceremonies that are free for public... More

They were between major exhibits, but what was there was interesting, and we've enjoyed more complete shows in the past. Staff is very friendly and helpful

I am a Skidmore Alum and I love the teaching Museum. Although I was not an Art major, I always frequented the exhibits, events, and teaching workshops. A must visit when in the Saratoga Area
