A pretty place to walk. We were a little late for the Roses to be at their best. Wish we could have seen the mansion.

Have had several artist friends who have done residencies-was happy to view the beautiful gardens. It was a very rainy day early in the growing season...still lovely and meditative. Very quiet and spiritual experience. Sculptures and pools filled with koi exquisite!

This is a very pretty, if small, formal garden. the roses were lovely and the rock garden interesting. I was a bit disappointed, as I'd expected something more extensive. We easily completed our visit in half an hour.

We totally enjoyed this stop on the way to SPAC. The sign was small but based on reviews we were determined to find it. It was lovely and perfect after 2 hours in the car. We were delighted to learn the history and to be invited to feel part of it. A step back in time, peaceful and soul soothing.

...will smell as sweet amid these romantic, ethereal Italian gardens and fountains below the artists-in-residence mansion. And where else will you get to use 'pergola' in a sentence? Free parking (yes, free). Pack a tidy lunch and luxuriate. Time is too short for those who fear, too long for those who wait, but for those who visit Yaddo, time stands... More

I visited this garden, as a friends wedding was being held here. As you walk in, there is a water feature to the left with statuary and on the hillside to the right is the large estate. A beautiful stone building that is having some chimney repair work at the moment. As you walk across the green lawn, you enter... More

When you are traveling in Saratoga Springs, stop by Yaddo Gardens......our family had heard about the gardens so we stopped by for about 20 minutes and enjoyed the beautiful Italian and rock gardens. It was a nice break.

A hidden gem in Saratoga--worth the tour if you get there on time. We happened to arrive just before 11 when the tour started and it was great. Beautiful gardens and interesting story

The Yaddo Gardens were spectacular. Enjoying it even more since I purchased a book about it at a local bookstore in Saratoga Springs. So much history. Grounds are impeccably kept. Wish I had read about it before visiting. Recommended by our ghost tour guide, Joe. Good call. Will definitely walk through again on my next visit to Saratoga Springs.

Having been led to believe, by the volunteers at the Visitor Center as well as guides at other attractions, that Yadoo Gardens was a highlight among the attractions in Saratoga Springs we were disappointed when we went to see them. We have been to other gardens that we have found much more inviting and enjoyable. Finding these to be mediocre... More
