If you are looking for a cozy laid back coffee house/night club this place is a local favorite. Cafe Lenas attracts some of most talented artists in music but the venue focuses on jazz, blues and folk. You won’t find top 40 music here and that is refreshing! We came to see the talented Chuck Lamb Trio with sax’ great Chico Freeman. We were seated with other guests as is commonly the practice of getting to know your neighbors sooner than later! They have a limited drink menu of red and white wines and hot beverages ( coffee, tea or hot chocolate) and small dessert choices. I recommend you have dinner elsewhere and stop in here as a delightful night cap. This place is staffed by mostly volunteers so be kind to your servers and tip generously! Oh and dress in layers since the room is on the 2nd floor and tends to run warm! Popular shows fill up fast so advance ticket purchases and reservations are highly recommended! Enjoy

I visited this attraction for a show featuring some of my father’s favorite artists, Steve and Cindy. The music was very good, and the service was very good as well. Overall, it was a great experience.

Went last night to see Red Molly trio. Was a fantastic show. Caffe Lena always give you great service, a great venue and excellent show. This is a small venue that draws a great crowd. We are an hour away and try to make many shows there. Will go again and again and support this venue

I visited this attraction for a show by Darrell Scott. The music was really nice, and the atmosphere was great. I had the pecan cheesecake, and it was very good. The service was really good, and it was overall a great experience.

I am 73 and went to my first concert at the wonderful Caffe Lena when I was 18 years old - a fairly new coffee house in Saratoga Springs, NY at the time. Over the years I have attended off and on, even after moving out of state. One visit was to hear The Steel Wheels, a roots group out of Virginia that I follow. Renovation has been extensive and updated but has managed to save the charm and the feel of an intimate setting. The original founder, Lena Spencer, had an ear for music and a judge of talent even when just emerging. For four decades, until her death, she transformed an upstairs stage area into the longest continuously operating folk music venue in America. After her death others stepped forth to continue her vision. Small tables and a few couches dot the room. Volunteers serve from a menu of light fare and desserts, coffee and tea, soft drinks, adult beverages. There are no bad seats! The range of concerts and other happenings gives something for everyone to enjoy.
