Have visited this venue several times and it is one of the more unique venues to see a live concert due to having a balcony. Sound is great, and any seat in the lower level is intimate. Seats are a must for some of the bigger acts. Many obstructed views from the lawn and the screens above the main building... More

Perfect weather, sound system great. We had lawn tickets but had a awesome time! We also purchased the VIP PARKING , well worth the extra...for the $32.00 we were in Gate #2, Spot #21. Didn't have to be there way ahead of time to get a place to park.

There's a reason why SPAC topped USA Today's top summer venues... It's a great place to see a band - brings out the best in them... If you have a chance, take in a show there!

Went to DMB July 3, 2015 and we bought tickets late so had lawn seats. My experience with lawn seating at rock concerts has been at CMAC in Canandaigua, NY and Darien Lake; both beautiful places. So imagine my shock, when, after getting to the parking lot early and into line at the booth early (within the first 30 people... More

I can't wait to come see another show here. I love how huge the grounds were. You an show up a whole day ahead of time and hike, picnic and hang out before a concert- and it isn't in a tailgating setting. The venue seemed a bit smaller than normal, so there wasn't a bad seat in the house. I... More

SPAC rightfully, voted best outdoor music venue. Since my last visit a few years back, there is no more "beer cage;" adult humans are now allowed free range while enjoying a (costly) beverage - great improvement. Sooooo worth it to pay more for pavilion seats to be comfortable no matter the weather. Just saw Kid Rock and Foreigner on 7/2/15,... More

We attended a concert on July 4th. I did not know ahead of time that lawn attendants could bring lawn chairs. I have never been to a facility like this that allowed chairs on the lawn. At first it made me wish we had chairs, but as the night went on I think they were just a nuisance. The first... More

I was looking forward to one of my favorite bands, Dave Matthews Band, for my birthday. Unfortunately, he wasn't going to perform at Bethel Woods where our family has enjoyed many concerts on the lawn. We brought our lawn chairs, but eventually had to stand up because we were surrounded by a bunch of drunks (I wound up with beer... More

Since they only seat 5,000 people, chances are if you're seeing a popular show, you'll be in a lawn seat. They screens they put around then venue are not clear at all and dated. You can hardly see anything on them. The sound isn't very great on the law. Either. We saw Dave Matthews and left after the 1st set.... More
