Excellent race track with lots of people and excitement. Be prepared for lots of cars - free parking lot does have a shuttle - bring your own food and drinks (beer included) as well as a chair/blanket, whatever and make a full day of it....More

New York has done a good job of protecting its crown jewel. The facilities need some attention, but whenever that is done on an American racetrack, things get out of hand and you lose the charm and history of the facility. Examples of this are...More

We love coming to the track each August. Behind the clubhouse is picnic tables and playground so it is all a family fun atmosphere. You can bring in coolers of canned beers and refreshments. Bring in your own lunch. It's like a huge party out...More

We like to go and pack a picnic lunch...there are picnic tables (you must arrive early) on the grounds and plenty of space to set up blanket/chairs.

Not my first time. Been there many times over the years. Had a great time. Went with my co-workers. The betting windows are plentiful and the electronic betting is very easy to use.

Saratoga Racetrack has Old World Charm in spades, with atmosphere and excellent racing on race-days. Where it is seriously lacking though is in hospitality. There are a couple of Suites at the end of the straight that cater for high-end hospitality, but otherwise there is...More

First I'll just say that I wish you luck with that. The gates will open at like 730am for the "picnic table dash" so I'd suggest you get there before then. I know people that will line up at the gate at 530am.
