Love coming here, especially for the Travers Steaks. It is truly THE venue to watch the Sport of Kings. Its ambience is unmatched at any thoroughbred track in America. And, none is better organized or run. Such great fun coming here.

The Saratoga race track has gotten quite a few new places to dine and enjoy a few cocktails while betting. Atmosphere is always the best. The horses are perfect

This is a must do summer activity for anyone in the region. It is not about the betting or the racing but about the atmosphere and fun. Sure, you play a few bucks on the horses with the fun names, but you have a great time with friends and family enjoying the atmosphere. There's lots of great food, live music,... More

Be prepared for the masses. Summer time brings out tons of tourists. Bonus is the ability to bring your own picnic.

This place is only open during summer yearly. It's really a nice experience to have picnic there and enjoy the view and atmosphere. Watching the horse racing and seeing the horse crossing is enjoyable while having picnic there. During their 100 years anniversary, I joined their free walking tour and it's really great and enjoyable. The tour guide told us... More

Simply the summer place to be. Great thoroughbred racing. Various good food outlets. Live music parking nearby for a fee. Not bad though. You gotta go

Saratoga Race Course is THE Saratoga place to be. You don't have to place a bet to enjoy a great afternoon at the Track. Wander around and take in the sights, have an adult beverage, or bring the kids to see the horses, the on site artists drawing or painting, or head out to the rail to cheer for the... More

Always a good time at the races. Some days are busier than others so if you can pick a less busy weekend, it might be worth it. That being said, Traverse weekend is worth the trip at least once.

It was just like every other horse racing track. Nothing special. The simulcast racing left a lot to be desired.
