There were four of us on this Foodie tour - nicely led by Joe, who is personable and knowledgeable. We started at the Saturday Farmers' Market - a very nice Market, by the way. Fresh veggies and extraordinary setting. We tasted yoghurt, peanut butter, and some hooch, and decided that we would order, rather than drag stuff around for a... More

Took the food tour on August 22nd with Jim and he was great! Knowledgeable of history, architecture and sustainable food. Well worth the time and price - attend hungry! Only suggestion would be to start at 11AM. Gives you 2 hours at the market, so we could buy things! We will be back, and will go again!

Don't miss the Saratoga Springs Food Tour! It is a wonderful blend of local Saratoga food and history. The guide and owner, Joe, tells stories that make the history come alive. And the food along the way is delicious - and filling. I'm definitely going back to several of the places we visited to buy their products.

My sister, 9 year-old niece and I took this tour as part of an annual girls' weekend. Since other reviewers have documented the stops/foods along the tour, my comments are focused on the less tangible aspects that made our experience special: The first was the mood created by our tour guide (and SSFT owner), Joe. His laid-back attitude and warmth... More

I was visiting for the day and thought this would be fun and a good way to learn more about Saratoga, but it exceeded all my expectations. We got to taste local artisanal products at the farmers market (whose director told us is voted best in the nation), a delicious appetizer at a quaint, lovely old tavern, an incredible assortment... A friend and I visited Saratoga before the official racing season started. I had been there last year while horse season was in full tilt, so this time I wanted to slow it down a notch and really take in Saratoga before all the excitement began. Being a "foodie" I wanted to experience this particular city's food tour and what... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2.5 hour walking food tour with Joe. It was a great way to learn some history of the town while sampling some goodies. It is obvious that Joe takes pride in offering a quality tour. We would recommend it to anyone!

The tour was exquisite. Joe did a great job and our group had a really nice time. The weather was perfect and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to sample and learn more about Saratoga local cuisine.
