We purchased a 4 hour package that included a private pontoon and driver. The boat was clean and comfortable, easily sitting all 9 of us in the group.

Our driver, Captain Bob, was incredible and clearly wanted us to have a good time. He knew the best spots to stop and swim and was able to tell us everything about the gorgeous properties surrounding the lake. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything, just sit back and relax.

Highly recommend spending an afternoon out on the lake with Adirondack Cruise & Charter Co!

This was a very nice cruise on a small boat that was modelled after an original Saratoga Lake tour boat and it was October 10th. Total passenger count was I believe 14 with two of them being young children. Additionally there was the Captain and First Mate. There was adequate social distancing and everyone wore masks which I thought was great. It was a beautiful fall day with calm waters and some fall color but a week or two from peak. The cruise was for 1.5 hours and toured a large portion of the lake though not all as it is quite a large body of water. The captain, Bob, gave narration as the tour progressed on the homes, original and current owners, hotels, restaurants and campsites that line the shore or are on the islands in the lake.. He also delved into some of the history of the lake and the topography surrounding the lake. All in all it was very much worth the ticket cost and was something both my wife and I truly enjoyed.

We were lucky to get the last two seats on Tuesday's sunset cruise. Captain Hal was great and extremely knowledgeable. He pointed out all the points of interest as well as gave us the history and fun facts about Lake Saratoga and the general area, including restaurant recommendations. We were only allowed to sail at half capacity, wearing masks, but it made the sail more intimate and enjoyable.

We found a brochure for this cruise in our hotel lobby. Because of Covid 19, nor many attractions are open so we jumped at this opportunity. It was supposed to be a sunset cruise but the evening was cloudy and rain was expected later. Our captain and his knowledge of Saratoga Lake and its history made this evening very enjoyable and worthwhile, even without the sunset. Both my husband and I would recommend this cruise/charter to anyone visiting the Saratoga springs area.

The boat is very smooth and cruises at 6 mph having plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings. The chairs can be removed and turned to your liking. The captain gives a historical presentation of the lake, Saratoga Springs and the surrounding houses, some interesting and funny stories. Local politics are also inserted in the presentation. Although the sunset is not guaranteed, the boat trip was nicely timed to coincide with the sunset. Word of caution, bring a sweater, after dark it get chilly quickly.

Captain Bob was the best, and the tour was perfect. We booked it for two hours and it was just the right amount of time. You're given a great guide to answer questions and take you along the lake, but it feels like you are private and alone with your party at the same time!

Captain Hal shared many stories about the history, characters and current events while sailing us around the beautiful Saratoga Lake. We brought our own snacks and enjoyed the calm waters and scenic view. Located a few minutes from the center of town, it was a great way to spend a couple of family hours.

My friend and I had a very enjoyable experience on the sunset cruise on Saratoga Lake recently. It was a beautiful evening and the sunset was spectacular. The trip was well done by Capt Dave and First Mate, Mary Grace. There was a narration about Saratoga Lake as well as time for enjoying music while taking in the views. We will be back!

Our group of 11 women had a blast on the General Schuyler. We were nervous that the weather would not be good, but the boat is covered so that is not an issue. We ended up with great weather, the Captain hooked up our music to the boat, we laid out on the boat, had cocktails and swam at the sand reef. Captain Jeff was super attentive refreshing our cocktails while we swam. It was a blast!!

I booked a pontoon boat ride for a 9 person bachelorette party. We were lucky enough to have Captain Ed who was awesome! We cruised around the lake, some swam as well. Captain Ed listened to all of our requests, shared information about homes on the lakes and made it really enjoyable. We brought drinks and snacks onto the boat and were able to move around easily. I would highly recommend using this charter service and going for a ride!
