    Very Friendly, elegant atmosphere...
We stopped by these vineyards twice on our trip to The Hamptons. The first time to buy wine and we were greeted with a sunny, friendly atmosphere and a lovely choice of wines. The second time was a summer picnic on the lawns with live music, wine and small bites. Again that free and light spirit made for a fun and refreshing afternoon. Their wines are certainly Summer in a Bottle. Recommended!

    Lovely south fork vineyard.
Came here for the first time on a rainy May Saturday. The vineyard is beautiful. We had a great server. We ordered both flights and got the burrata and prosciutto and arugula pizza. For dessert we tried the chocolates. Everything was great. Can't wait to go back.

A fun winetasting, but quite pricey
The wine tasting was lots of fun, but awfully expensive--$38 for four small (very small) carafes of wine--the equivalent of about two glasses of wine. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the cider and flatbread (a small pizza, really) we had were tasty, too. A fun afternoon, but only if you're really into wines and you don't mind paying quite a premium for doing so.

An Exceptional Experience at Wölffer Estate Winery
Our visit to Wölffer Estate Winery in New York was nothing short of extraordinary. The winery itself is breathtaking, with its beautifully manicured vineyards and elegant ambiance. The wine offerings are outstanding, with each glass reflecting the winery's dedication to craftsmanship and quality. We particularly enjoyed the rosé, which was crisp and refreshing—perfect for a summer afternoon. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or just looking for a lovely spot to relax and unwind, Wölffer Estate Winery is a must-visit.

On a recent Saturday afternoon we booked a tasting at Wolffer. The building and surrounding vineyards are lovely. The tasting experience was disappointing. The patio seating was crowded, loud and the wine and food overpriced. We ordered two tasting flights. Each flight included four 2 oz. pours. Both flights were over $30 each. The server was harried and barely described the wine selections. We did not enjoy any of the selections and left without purchasing a single bottle. My advice to those who enjoy drinking wine and visiting wineries, manage your expectations accordingly.

Went to the Wine Stand for my daughters 30th BD. Staff friendly, accommodating. Our waitress was great. Suggested certain wines based on our input and was attentive. Had appetizers & lots of wine. An unexpected treat to taste a gin drink at the wine stand too!
Go on a sunny day and it will not disappoint you.

My party and I were so incredibly impressed with our tasting at Wolffer. Each glass of wine was expertly paired with a delicious small bite. Our hostess overheard me tell my boyfriend that I would be able to eat most items on our tasting menu (I have celiac) and asked me which one could she substitute for me and graciously brought over a gluten free cracker and cheese plate. They also accommodated someone in the party who wasn’t able to have alcohol and were able to pair with their non alcoholic beverages. 10/10 would go again the estate is gorgeous, friendly staff, our waiter had a story and facts about every bottle. Highly recommend

I visited this winery along with my toddler and my husband. We didn’t have a reservation but the hostess seated us down within less than 5 minutes. The place is nice but it’s overpriced. Wine bottles start off at $34 and they go up to $120 per bottle. You don’t have too many selections under the food menu either. We ordered a flatbread pizza as well along with a charcuterie board and everything costed us $200. Prices are too high! I don’t plan on going here again.

We are fortunate to live in the Hamptons and have been here before. We were a total of 6, as we had friends visiting. We purchased two bottles and a charcuterie board. We were having a great time until two security/bouncers came up and stood over us and said that’s it you’re out of here. We were beyond shocked! Everyone around our blanket is watching. We’re all dressed up and just arrived.

The bouncer stated my son who is 20 was drinking. I had just gotten him a bottle of water for 18.00 and they give you the same glass as the do with wine. Hence they may want to reconsider that.

We all said at the same time!! He’s our designated driver. He was drinking WATER. We were mortified, embarrassed, spent 250.00 to deal with this. We’ve been going for 10 years. Have fun but don’t be smart and have a sober driver . I reached out to the GM to discuss before writing this review and of course no response since 8/6/24. So many other great places to go!

The location is very nice and owner/staff are friendly.

However when we come for a wine tasting we expect to receive information about the history and explanations on each wine we taste.

Here nothing, you can choose between 4 type of flights and it comes with a short description written on the board where glasses are served.

Also surprising was the price, which is around usd 40 for in total 8 oz or 1.2dl. Okay we are in the Hamptons but common.

It is unfortunately run too much as a business and lacks of soul.

Value for money is on the low side.

Four of us gathered here on a rainy day. The decor is fun and staff was friendly. We picked about six ciders that we were interested and did our own cider tastings. One friend had never had hard cider before so she was delighted to try a few different varieties. Be sure to make a reservation in advance.

We visited in Nov 2022 (off-season), so can't comment on how busy it gets during summer. But we went for my mom's birthday and had a wonderful time. The wine flight was fun - you get four little carafes of different wines - and the cheese plate was tasty. The woman who was helping (I think her name was Laura) was so sweet and knowledgeable and very fun to talk with. The property is beautiful, both inside and the outdoor patio. While the winery is probably best known for the rose, our favorites were the pinot noir and the dry Riesling. Highly recommended as a fun afternoon stop.

Came here for a tasting of what must be Long Island's very best wine. We were greeted by host Stacy who is both pleasant and knowledgble. She sat us among the grapes with a wonderful view.
Our server, Michael R quickly brought us water and gave us time to look at the menu. We had the Estate Flight and the Rose Flight with a Charcuterie Board.
Everything was simply fantastic!
Both Stacy and Michael are great ambassadors for this wonderful vineyard and we highly recommend coming here!
