We were stuffed when we went to the show. The theater is charming and there are no bad seats, just creaky floors!!! Despite the announcements to use the top exits during the shows, several people left from the main level during the show. The show was 90 mins - no intermission. Wish it had been 65-70 mins tops. It would... More

The Bay Street Theater is where locals and tourists meet if they love theater. Bay Street has a long history of excellence: great plays, some premiers, great playwrights, some, many of them locals, a discerning audience. The theater fills up quickly when the stars of excellence line up. When the directors try to please an imaginary public with too many... More

Jonathan Tolins new dramatic comedy "The Forgotten Woman" is cozy, funny and at times very heated. It concerns a talented, plump, married opera soprano on the verge of stardom or burnout with her entourage of manager, coach/husband and newspaper interviewer. The cast, director, set/lighting/costume designers are all experienced NYC pros making this play sparkle. Show runs through June 19. Comedian... More

We try to take in as many performances as possible every season at this charming and intimate 300 seat theatre in our favorite village in the Hamptons, Sag Harbor. This professional theatre and cultural centre provides a diverse array of performing arts and the world premiere of the play we saw on May 31st, The Forgotten Woman, was a remarkable... More

Saw a really good show. Seating was good and staff efficient. The tickets were fairly priced. Can't say if it was for children as it was a show geared for adults. I know that during the year they do have shows y\geared to a young audience.

My wife and I became patrons of Bay Street years ago and have enjoyed many performances at their quaint theatre on the water. Their offerings over the years have expanded to include music, classic movies, comedy and children's workshops and they never disappoint. My son and I attended `Stages Children's Theatre Group as one of their first attendees and eventually... More

To bad when I was there this past weekend this theater was closed since I've heard so much about this place. I would of loved to take a little tour of it or perhaps see one of the plays. But from the outside looked very inviting.

We had tickets to the final performance of GreyGardens @ Bay Street Theater on Aug 30, 2015. We loved it! The Theater is very cozy and kept nicely cooled in the Summer. We had no issues booking the tickets online or picking them up at the theater. Best of all, Bay Street Theater has a wonderful full service bar available... More

I saw Grey Gardens at the Bay Street Theatre on Sunday August 16, 2015 and it was fantastic. Betty Buckley was wonderful as always. I would highly recommend this play and this theatre. It was my first time at Bay Street and I was very impressed. The theatre is very small and intimate, there is no bad seat in the... More

This intimate (300-seat) professional theater brings in new and well-known actors, directors, musicians, designers for three main stage summer productions, Comedy Club performers and musical acts year round. It is also a community arts forum and offers theater classes for children and adults.
