We stopped in Barnstormer twice on our trip to the Finger Lakes last week - we enjoyed it so much. The barn is rustic and cozy, and the service was incredible. Hannah is personable, knowledgeable and accommodating - she made us feel so welcome! We loved several of the dry wines, the Blaufrankisch red and rose were our favorites. Don’t pass on the charcuterie board, it is delicious and all locally sourced.

My friends and I spent 3 days visiting 12 wineries on Seneca and Keuka Lakes in the Finger Lakes, NY. Barnstormer was by far the best--an intimate tasting room, personal service from a very knowledgeable and helpful host, and incredible dry whites, reds, and especially the amazing dry Rose. Don't miss this if you're in the area.

Best winery we visited all week! Friendly staff, delicious wines. We also got the charcuterie board which was delicious, all local cheeses and crackers. Bought 2 bottles of wine. They even gave us a bonus tasting of mulled cider with wine--delicious, highly recommend!

We went to Barnstormers on a recommendation from a shopkeeper in Watkins Glen. We made a reservation in advance which we advise as the inside seating is small (it was too hot to be outside). The winery is tastefully decorated.
Our tastings were disappointing. The pours were the smallest any of us have ever experienced. Most less than a shot glass would hold. We all agreed that the 5 tastings didn’t equal a half glass of wine.
The $15 charcuterie board was very tasty; beautiful selection and the pickled onions were amazing. However, it was served without utensils or plates which made sharing it a messy affair.

Amazing wine and service. We were greeted by the friendliest hostess, who made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. Our experience only got better when we sat down for our wine tasting. Art was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond during our tasting. Hands down, one of the best wineries on Seneca Lake. My girlfriends and I were here for the weekend and this was the only vinery that we visited were we all left with our hands full! Highly recommend!

Great winery! This winery is a must visit when in the Finger Lakes. We visited on July 16th and I was pleasantly surprised the sommelier was very informative. Due to covid 19 So many wineries just sit the flight down and offer no interaction at all(which I understand), but at Barnstormer she stood back 6 feet and answered our questions and gave us details on the wine we were tasting. I loved the Rose' and the semi-dry Riesling.

Barnstormer tasting room is a 200+ year old barn that has been converted. It was our groups favorite tasting of the entire weekend. They had a good variety of wines, but the ambiance of the place is what you will really remember. We had a wine and cheese pairing and it was a highlight for us. I definitely recommend stopping in a Barnstormer if you are in the area.

I enjoyed one of the best Rose's I've ever had at this winery - the Sangiovese 2019. The back lawn has great seating options overlooking the lake and they had a nice gift shop. Perhaps most importantly, the staff were great. We made two visits to this winery during our stay One wasn't enough!

We stopped here on our way home after a few days staying on Seneca Lake. We wanted to pick up a few bottles to bring home. The staff was super accommodating and we were able to try a few before deciding which to buy. Great atmosphere - outside area looked pretty too! They also had a nice little gift shop. Will stay longer next time we are in the area :)

After driving around Seneca Lake and trying a variety of wineries we ended up at Barnstormer. We had great, friendly, knowledgeable service. We each tried different flights, but agreed the port was some of the best we’ve tried. We also liked the Blaufrankish! We highly recommend Barnstormer on your wine tour.
