Best winery in the Finger Lakes!
Jul 2021
My friends and I spent 3 days visiting 12 wineries on Seneca and Keuka Lakes in the Finger Lakes, NY. Barnstormer was by far the best--an intimate tasting room, personal service from a very knowledgeable and helpful host, and incredible dry whites, reds, and especially the amazing dry Rose. Don't miss this if you're in the area.

First of all - don't miss out on their cheese and charcuterie plate! The tasting experience was great, the people were really nice - what more could you ask for?

Best winery all week!

Best winery we visited all week! Friendly staff, delicious wines. We also got the charcuterie board which was delicious, all local cheeses and crackers. Bought 2 bottles of wine. They even gave us a bonus tasting of mulled cider with wine--delicious, highly recommend!

Don't miss this winery!

Amazing wine and service. We were greeted by the friendliest hostess, who made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. Our experience only got better when we sat down for our wine tasting. Art was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond during our tasting. Hands down, one of the best wineries on Seneca Lake. My girlfriends and I were here for the weekend and this was the only vinery that we visited were we all left with our hands full! Highly recommend!

A hidden gem!

We passed Barnstormer Winery on our way to another. For some reason it stood out me, I love fun names! My husband indulged me, and he was glad he did! What a nice little Winery! The young lady who served us was wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I remembered her name! (We were there on Wednesday August 19th in the mid-afternoon.) I love Riesling, and theirs was fabulous! Now, my husband has ALWAYS raved about the port from another winery. We sampled Barnstormer's port, and my husband said "This is better than -----'s" My husband does NOT impress easily, that's a huge endorsement!
Barnstormer isn't listed on the Wine Trail, but it's definitely a must try! Enjoy!

Great staff!
Jul 2020
We stopped here on our way home after a few days staying on Seneca Lake. We wanted to pick up a few bottles to bring home. The staff was super accommodating and we were able to try a few before deciding which to buy. Great atmosphere - outside area looked pretty too! They also had a nice little gift shop. Will stay longer next time we are in the area :)

We did a number of wine tastings while visiting the Finger Lakes and Barnstormer's was definitely my favorite. Hannah took the time to explain each flight and was very accommodating. The wines are off the chart delicious.

Must visit!
Jul 2020
Great winery! This winery is a must visit when in the Finger Lakes. We visited on July 16th and I was pleasantly surprised the sommelier was very informative. Due to covid 19 So many wineries just sit the flight down and offer no interaction at all(which I understand), but at Barnstormer she stood back 6 feet and answered our questions and gave us details on the wine we were tasting. I loved the Rose' and the semi-dry Riesling.

Great atmosphere and wine

I enjoyed one of the best Rose's I've ever had at this winery - the Sangiovese 2019. The back lawn has great seating options overlooking the lake and they had a nice gift shop. Perhaps most importantly, the staff were great. We made two visits to this winery during our stay One wasn't enough!

Simply Outstanding
Sep 2019
Barnstormer tasting room is a 200+ year old barn that has been converted. It was our groups favorite tasting of the entire weekend. They had a good variety of wines, but the ambiance of the place is what you will really remember. We had a wine and cheese pairing and it was a highlight for us. I definitely recommend stopping in a Barnstormer if you are in the area.
