We had 8 people in our group that I made a reservation for. We went to many wineries that day, and this one was by far the BEST one!!! The whole ambiance of this place is great. Our girl doing the wine tasting, Madison, was AMAZING. The mulled wine was the best wine of the day! The whole environment, including the people that worked there, had such positive vibes, and we loved being there. We had a great time, and I would 100% go back!!

We had the best time here! Our taste server Art was one of the best we've had in our experience with wineries. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He was a high school band teacher for his career, this is his retirement job. The place is 170 year old renovated barn. Well done at that! They also had a very cool t-shirt my husband had to have. We did purchase a bottle of their reisling reserve to take home. Over all great experience!!

We stopped into Barnstormer Winery as a first stop on a little winery tour. We were welcomed by friendly staff and sat at the tasting bar. The wine was great. We got the cheese plate to go with our wine. But if you don't get any food, they provide oyster crackers for those people who don't want to get too tipsy. We should have stayed longer. They had food barbequing and live music playing outside in their yard. It was a laid back atmosphere that was set up for people to hang out and enjoy themselves. We did not find that same atmosphere at the other wineries we stopped at later in the day.

This was the final stop on out Crush tour of four area wineries--and Crush knows which ones are the great ones. Barnstormer makes good wines--we wound up taking away several bottles of our favorites from the tasting flight. But what impresses most is their hospitality. We sat at their tasting bar and they presented us with welcoming pours of one of their whites. Our visit also included one of their charcuterie boards, so we could enjoy some cheeses, salami, currents, pepitas, and crackers as we sipped. A measure of our assessment of a winery is whether we buy bottles to take home. Several of the selections on our tasting flights qualified for a couple of bottles. It's rare that we feel so welcome at a winery.
