This park is a gem. Located on the bank of the Erie Canal, it offers hiking trails, picnic pavilions and lodges. You can access the canal walk/bike path as well!

This is a small park with many trails. It's well taken care of and safe for family's. Lot of parking spots. It has a dog area for them to play with other dogs. You can even walk to the Erie Canal walkway and walk for miles along the Erie Canal.

This is a very nice canal walk. Pure nature here. You will not find much of anything but other walkers, runners or bikers. I enjoy my walks because I can go miles of just peaceful quietness. I've never done it by myself. As a female I rather have someone since this trail has no businesses nearby. You will enjoy seeing some wildlife. When it's hot out this is a cool place to walk through.

Hiking, biking, walking trails. Great for dog walking. Playground area for kids. Right along historic Erie Canal. Open recreation fields for all types of activities such as soccer, baseball, tennis. Cross country skiing, etc. for the winter. Excellent lodges/shelters for larger events. They are new, very clean, and have bathroom facilities. The parking is excellent.

Following our daughter’s RIT graduation, we decided to try a walk on this park’s trails. But the trails though the woods were muddy. So we regrouped along the canal at HenPeck park / Robach landing. The path along the canal is nicely maintained, small gravel surface. Yesterday only a few others walking or biking along that trail. We went to Manitou road and turned around, so about 40 minutes roundtrip.
There was plenty of parking at both spots.
But only porta-pots in the main park area that needed cleaned.

A nice size playground and hiking trails! Park was clean and my family enjoyed the visit. There is also a smaller playground down one of the paths.

We went walking along the canal several times while visiting Rochester. There is plenty of shade and even on the weekend, was not too crowded.

was there for an afternoon for a birthday party at one of the pavilions. I was there in the daytime but at no time felt unsafe anywhere in the park. didn't strike me at all as a trouble spot but I don't live there or frequent the park. I enjoyed my time there very much and enjoyed walking the park and canal.
