I haven't been here in years. I am admittedly not a huge art lover, but I found their collection of items and sculptures very interesting. Their collection of photography artifacts, cameras, etc. is outstanding! I did not that there are SO many framed pieces and (to me) it seemed, less of the sculptures and art pieces I found interesting.
FYI,aAs my friend and I both have mobility issues, we found the uneven floors somewhat o a challenge, but to be expected. The ladies restroom had a step up, which tripped me up coming in - there is a 'watch your step' sign outside, but the area is dark and very close-quartered. The staff was exceptionally kind and friendly. I think we would have had a more difficult time getting around if it was during a crowded weekend day. Everyone inside (except staff) were wearing masks. The outside of the buildings was beautifully done too, with lots to see. There are a LOT of nudes inside, and although it didn't bother me, I would want to know if I were bringing young children. All very artistic, but good to know anyway. All in all, we were glad we went!

Wow! Room after room of artwork in various forms displayed in curious and creative ways. The type of place that you can visit 100 times and find new things each time. We arrived in time for a private tour (included with admission) of the other galleries. Cannot wait to return.

A friend was married in a church, and the reception was here. If you are getting married in this area: do the reception here.

It was so much more fun than a ballroom where people awkwardly sit and stare at each other. You could wander the halls and multiple rooms to study and enjoy all of the art fixtures. The main room that we had dinner at was covered in artwork from ground to across the ceiling.

I would love to look through the other buildings at this location to see if they are themed differently or if they are all as eclectic as the location we were housed in.

10 of 10 recommend checking out this location.

This is an eclectic collection of interesting everyday items which will hold your interest for hours! The ArtisanWorks is comprised of multiple show rooms. There are several automobiles (Corvair, REO Speedwagon, and Model A Ford), one-of-a-kind artwork such as a full size Ford Pickup truck made entirely of wood - including the engine! There is a small game room with some working amusement games such as foosball, pinball and bowling; all from the 1950's. Another showroom contains a mock-up of a firehouse (both floors), including a fire pole and a 1960's era fire truck. There is a Frank Lloyd Wright tribute room with some FLW inspired furnishings. Bring your camera as there are no restrictions on photography. Speaking of cameras, there is a large collection of old cameras. A lot of Kodak cameras and supplies. Way too much to recap here. You won't be disappointed since there is something for everybody here - all ages, all genders. Great thing to do on a bad-weather day since it's all indoors. Free parking. Short drive to many places to eat lunch/dinner in the general vicinity.

The Artisan Works is a very unusual place, and I'm not really sure of what to call it. It is a cross between an exhibit, a museum, a storage facility, and an office building. Basically, artists from all over use this place as a repository for their works, which are either stored, displayed, or sold. It is located inside the Blossom Business Center at 595 Blossom Road, and the hallways of the office building are lined with the paintings, The actual "inner sanctum" of the Artisan Works is sort of a redone warehouse, where the current motif resembles an old fire hall. The range of paintings, carvings and sculptures ranges from the classical to the bizarrely modern. Even the roof is filled with weatherproof scuptures and other examples of outdoor art. It is very unique, although probably not worth the price of a museum visit.

I’ve been fortunate to visit a few times, most recently for a wedding reception. I didn’t know what to expect as previously I was there for after-hours business engagements. They know how to host. Fun for all!

Over 500,000 pieces of varying styles and eras of art and other collector items. Displayed in many different themed spaces throughout more than 40,000 SF of renovated warehouse / factory building space. This is not counting the many pieces they have leased out to outside organizations.

Also scattered through out are many event spaces (must have been about 15) of varying size and capacity, apparently with an in-house catering option.

The main entance gallery is very spacious and covered with artwork ( picture attached).

Thay also have a car museum space with many "old" or special type cars ( two pictures attached).

The day I went I joined a tour with 4 others given by the founder Louis that lasted over an hour.He had the background and shared many insights into the operation and the different displays.

I think this is a place I could periodically return to and see something different or that I inadvertantly passed by on a previous visit.

This is also a great stop on a very cold or rainy day

So much to see here -- from painting to antique cars. Tastefully done, lots of memorabilia. I always enjoy going her for an event -- whether it's a wedding or another occasion!

What a great venue for a fundraiser! The food was great! Grazing tables and staff working the room with trays of appetizers. Unique and inviting.
