A Nice Auditorium to see a Play.

We saw Shen Yun this past weekend here. Parking was adequate but it’s extra $. Security was quick. They have a bar in the lobby. Ladies rest room was downstairs. I don’t think there are bad seats in this theater. The sound was good. Lighting excellent. My only advice at their next upgrade would be some sort of padded seats and more legroom. Sitting for 2 hours in those hard wooden seats was uncomfortable. Otherwise, we enjoyed the show.

Beautiful!

Such a lovely theatre. So much intricate detail. The Lion King -Broadway Tour was fantastic!!! The volunteers made everything run smoothly even though so many people were entering at the same time.
Totally recommended purchasing the parking pass when buying tickets to a show, it made it much easier.

Excellent Theatre with questionable parking.
Feb 2019
The theater itself is quite charming and nicely laid out. Not really a bad seat in the house. The theater staff were all friendly and quite helpful. The parking for the theater, however, was a different story. There are several paid parking lots in the surrounding area and the one we ended up in packed cars in like sardines. There was no way to get out until each layer unwrapped itself. Hadn't realized that going in. Be on the look out for that if you go.

We had a change in plans because our hotel screwed up and had to bring my service dog in training for a show, the staff was AMAZING! Everyone was welcoming and helpful, they even moved us to better seats.so my service dog had more room! Everyone was polite and helpful, they really made us feel welcome and that we weren't a bother at all! I would make the hour and a half trip again just because of the service!

BS Screening Security
May 2019 • Couples
Pointless and invasive gorilla type security hassle patrons who are entering the theater. People all dressed up and looking forward to a show are treated like terrorists. Security finds a bunch of cell phones in people's coats - BIG deal, call the FBI. All this does is raise ticket prices.

Unfortunately, due to current day events, increased security measures have become a necessity for venues like ours which host large crowds. While a brief "wanding" and bag check may take an extra minute to get through the doors, our security screening policy is in place to protect our patrons and to ensure the safety of our staff and performers. Also - you'd be surprised at what some people attempt to bring into a public venue that can be much more dangerous than a cell phone. We hope you enjoyed your performance.

Great Theatre experience
May 2019 • Family
We went to see Hamilton and had a great theatre experience. From the security check to the attendant who seated us and everyone in between, each person we encountered on our way to the balcony was pleasant and helpful. People at the merch booth and beverage area were delightful. Our balcony seats were spectacular. We had a very enjoyable play experience. Hamilton was the best show I have ever seen. I highly recommend it. I have now seen it in 4 different theatres, Go see it when it comes to a stage near you.

Hamilton!!!
May 2019 • Friends
What a great venue to see Hamilton. A group of theatre going friends traveled from Syracuse to Rochester to see Hamilton. It was our first time at this venue and we were very pleased. Of course the show is amazing and powerful but this venue was wonderful to see it at. We had seats in the orchestra section. The seats were comfortable and there was good leg room. The seats are slightly tiered and they are staggered with each row so there was no difficulty in seeing the performance. I really liked that I was notified by email in advance regarding very close parking options and could pay for that in advance. This was very convenient and took a lot of stress away when traveling to an unfamiliar venue. While we did not purchase any drinks or snacks while there, we did notice others with containers of sliced cheese and large cookies as well as alcoholic and soft drinks. Very nice instead of just the usual packs of candy that you find at venues. My only complaint is of course the limited bathrooms for women but tgat is an age old problem everywhere!! We would definitely return to RBTL Auditorium for future performances!

Great theater with top name shows
May 2019 • Friends
Went for Hamilton, but will be coming back for lots of other shows! Great lineup for 2019-2020. Easy, convenient parking, beautifully maintained theatre. Comfortable seats, reasonably priced snacks and drinks, and I really didnt see a bad seat in the house. All the staff were friendly and helpful. 5 stars for sure.
