The market was everything I was hoping for and more. Within five minutes of being there I was greeted by a nice young man from a fresh fish still who gave me an introduction to the market when I told him I had never been. The variety of products was incredible, the efficient operation and friendliness of the people was delightful, and the atmosphere was lively and interesting. If I lived nearby I could see myself doing over half of my grocery shopping at the market every week. The next time I am anywhere near Rochester I will plan another visit.

We found this market by mistake when visiting the Rochester area, so we decided to stop even though it was raining. There is an outdoor section under cover that sells fruits, veggies, jams, honey, syrup etc then there is an inside building that also sells pastries, meats, dry goods, coffees, veggies and fruits etc etc. we got some great deals on all of the above items We also noticed they were selling Xmas trees and wreaths so I am assuming they do pumpkins and Halloween decor in October as their site says they are open all year. I did also notice there were a few shops on the other side too which looked like speciality shops we didn't go over to them because we had several bags that were getting heavy and the rain and wind was cold and yucky. A must stop at if you want fresh items for dinners, we liked this market

Santa arrived at 9 AM. With it was the "sled and two beautiful Cladsdale horses." What fun for children to see and talk to these large wonderful animals. There were Christmas trees to buy along the wreath and other wonderful Christmas decorations. Everyone was trying to shop during a ice and sleet storm. I take my hat to vendors, police and market personal who worked so hard to make this a fun day.

Very bad for parking, the multi storey car park sign sends you down a dead end road, traffic jams all around, shame
