I would recommend this place to families with kids under 10 years old. Older kids will find this place quite boring.

This museum really lives upto its name, there are many activities to play for young and old. Some highlights that my children particularly enjoyed where the Wegman's mini store, arcades, and butterfly exhibition. Amenities we liked were having a section you can leave your coat and free strollers for toddlers. The diner in the front of the the museum also... More

I have heard so many positive things about this museum and I wasn't at all disappointed! My daughter and I came here on a "field trip" for a project she was doing in college. What an amazing place to bring your children, young and old!!!

I've been there with my own kids when they were small and the focus was on old-school dolls and toys (still around). Now I take my grandkids and it really is all about play of all kinds! They want to go back every time they come to town.

This is an amazing stop if you happen to be visiting Rochester, and even for locals! With the various activities, friendly staff, butterflies (in the garden) and an amazing way to spend your weekend the Strong Museum of Play is a wonderful museum. To top it off with a gift shop and diner for hungry exhausted children. :)

When my children were younger, we would spend hours here. The pretend Wegman's grocery store was the biggest hit with my kids, but there is so much to do here.

Talk about memory lane! This museum is not only for kids but for adults too. The little ones will find a multitude of activities from a pint-size grocery store with working barcode check counters to a wall of bubbles on a video screen. The adults will walk down memory lane from board games of the 60s to video games of... More
