Went on fireworks night, 7/30/11.
Lots going on during the game. Food was great, beer was cold, mixed drinks were strong, and parking was only 5 bucks. Compared to other AAA ballparks, this one is great!

I love going to Frontier Field. No matter where you sit you are close to the action. It is an affordable night for families. In addition to regular seats, there are two grass sections where people are welcome to seat and watch the game. There are multiple food vendors available, and even a bar on the third base side where you can have a drink (something besides beer) and watch the game.

The Rochester minor-league baseball stadium has been moved a number of times and this is its latest incarnation. A nice venue, actually, clean and quite comfortable. The games, the crowds, the foods, all add to the experience. Worth a visit at least once. Really, go ahead!

I have been to a lot of Baseball games. This place is one of the best. From the friendly staff to the incredible views of the game. This park is very family friendly and a very enjoyable night out.

I feel very sorry for the members of the Minnesota Twins organization that end up in this awful place. The stadium is one of the worst I have experienced in over 50 visits to minor league parks around the country. The staff was rude and heavy-handed. The teams were playing their hearts out and the only cheers from the crowd were negative and cruel. If you are passing through and thinking about attending a game, my advice to you is to keep going.

This is a great baseball park. Apart from the well manicured field itself, the ushers were friendly and helpful and the food at the concessions was absolutely outstanding. We have been to baseball games in minor and major leagues parks across the country, and Frontier Field offered the best food selections of any of them by far! If you want something besides peanuts, Crackjacks, baked pretzels and Ball Park franks, this is the park for you...and the food prices are actually reasonable.Try the freshly made crepes filled with fresh fruit and ice cream for a real treat. The chicken parmesan and philly cheese steak were also terrific.
The biggest drawback to watching a week-end game at Frontier Park is trying to get to the game on time because of the parking situation. Make sure that you get there early or you will be lined up down the highway for at least an hour.
It is obvious that everyone involved with Frontier Field is dedicated to making this a great baseball experience for people who come to a game. It is a good way to spend an afternoon or evening when you are in the Rochester area.

Frontier Field is a great place to watch baseball, especially when our team wins. There are several little places with food, but like any entertainment place, it is expensive. :( Last night I had a Beef on Weck and a bottle of water and it cost $9.75 which I think is outrageous, especially for family entertainment.

Being from Houston, we attend several Astros games each year at a big league park. But the baseball experience is more fun for the average fan in a triple A park. Close to the action, low admission prices, park close, local foods and brew, players almost ready for prime time [or who should be playing for the Astros right now but don't get me started --]
This is a "close to new" park with good sight lines from most any seat. Even the nose bleeds are closer than major league parks. Overall, a great experience at a well run facility.

I've been going to games there since it opened (actually went to the 1st ever game, 30 degrees and windy)! There isnt a bad seat in the place, and even if you sit high up, theres a good chance at tracking down a foul ball! The food is a little pricy for the portions, but not bad compared to other ballparks. Secutity does a nice job of keeping people away from the wrong seats, so your not bothered by kids trying to to get a ball from players (if u sit up close). Overall, just a nice relaxing place to watch a game!
PS- Nice downtown backdrop too!

Frontier Field is a great place to take in a baseball game. There's not a bad seat in the place and to my eyes, the quality of AAA baseball isn't much different than the majors.
Frontier Field is a newer baseball field but the atmosphere is more like a old-time baseball park. They even have a live organist! The most expensive seat will set you back $10 or so.
The most surprising thing about Frontier Field is the great food! There's a huge assortment -- Red Osier roast beef sandwiches are what I usually get, but Simply Crepes has a nice assortment of crepes. Plus there's subs, Mexican food, hot dogs, pizza, and on and on. I wouldn't call the prices inexpensive but it's a lot less than you'd pay at a major league ball park.
Contrary to the description on TripAdvisor, Frontier Field is no longer host to the Rochester Rhinos. The soccer team now has its own field (where I've never visited).

Not sure. There was a big golf tournament there and hotels were full. I drove toward Syracuse to get one.

Florence! The season ended Labor Day Weekend. Virtually any question one might have can be answered on their website. Just google Red Wings Baseball. It really is a very nice stadium run by a great organization. Rochester has the longest running minor league franchise in all of baseball.
