Really interesting close-up of North Fork settlers with farm animals and outbuildings. Several homes with different eras represented. Special Christmas fair and personable docents.

Don't bother. It's a very "local's only" atmosphere for Queens transplants. The entire experience was sub-par. I would not recommend it to anyone.

All of the employees are well informed and very friendly. My nephew got married there and my grandson went to camp there.

Been there twice with kids' school trips. Plenty to see and walk around. Staff is very good and imparts historical information at a good pace and with interest. Hands-on activities for kids too. Trip can be completed in 2 hours without missing anything.
