Really, what a throwback. So much fun. Gumby and plastic hair barrettes with some modern goodies. Way too much fun to pass up. The 5 and dime lives on. Thank you!

Took my Mom (and my dog!) into this store and we had so much fun looking at the variety of goods for sale. The staff were lovely and helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit here. And yes, I did find some fun...More

The Al Stickle 5 & Dime Store is a cool piece of Americana. An actual 5 & dime. Has everything that you'd expect in such a store.

What I Iike about AL Stickle is that you can find some of the old 'notions' items that the department stores used to handle thirty years ago, like cleaning supplies, school supplies and yarn. They carry the every day items that are needed as well...More

With its vintage (original) decor and excellently curated items (from hardware to gifts) this is the best place to shop in Rhinebeck. Do not miss it. Still run by the Stickle family. And it has an incredible yard shop in the rear.
